"the bunker"
looked like a blood and guts war for awhile until hurtado decided to do his malignaggi imitation(grunts and all)....
..

i have no idea how to score rounds with one guy running and the other guy chasing....

a knockdown either way would be merciful...

This is a hard fight to score.

If you are going by looks, then Morua wins in a landslide as Hurtado looks like the elephant man.

I think if Hurtado doesn't get Pernell Whitaker'ed here in the last round, he is going to take it on the cards

Round 12 Hurtado throws more but Morua lands better.

I never get close fights.

Congrats Ghost this is in the bag for you.

I agree. I think Hurtado wins but I scalped it. I got +157 Hurt and +155 Moru...small play for a buck but guaranteed winner barring a draw or nc. Always nice to make money on the 1st wager of the week.

Congrats old dirty and Ghost :toast:

I won 57 bucks and the way the fight was going I was glad i scalped. Looks like both guys are toast. Thx for the updates!

I am betting Reyes to beat Diaz at +500.

Diaz has some quit in him.

There is nothing I really love this weekend.

I have placed 3 small bets and 2 of them have already lost. :scared

I might bet big on one WEC fight that I think the oddsmakers have wrong.

I actually like a few WEC fights and a few DREAM fights
The boxing odds are a bit rough this week

Tomorrow my plays are:

SMALL
Rolando Reyes +475
I agree with weepaul
Julio Diaz shouldn't be -800 over anybody in the world
He should beat Reyes, but maybe he gets caught (it's happened 3 times, it can happen again)

MEDIUM
Under 9.5 Escobedo-Hernandez
Famoso barely beat Alatore - He is all done
He may hang on to the final bell, but he won't win - NO WAY

MEDIUM
Under 6.5 Valero-Pitalua
The little footage I've seen of Pitalua, I have been unimpressed
I think Valero is going to SMOKE this cat

MEDIUM PARLAY
Pianeta to Povetkin
After much back and forth, I'm going with a MEDIUM parlay in Germany
I will be super-pissed off at myself if Sosnowski pulls this out
I think he will give a good effort, but Pianeta has to be better than an old Danny Williams
He has to, right?

LARGE PARLAYS
Valero-Escobedo-Povetkin
Escobedo-Povetkin-Bradley
Katsidis-Escobedo-Valero

LARGE STRAIGHT
Bradley (steadier, tougher, better chin, a tad slower but not by much)
SMALL
Bradley ITD
He is gonna check than china chin of Holt's a few times - it could shatter

Good luck crew.

Fig made Bailey look like Thomas Hearns in there. If live betting were available, I'd have loaded up on Bailery in the third, you could see that right hand coming a mile away. Fig went straight in and out and never left punching range, a highlight KO waiting to happen.

Anyway I added to the Valero under, Dwyer likes it too. Holt is +170 now so I hedged, now I have a medium play on Bradley at near even money.

There is value on the draw too, this should go 12, with both guys having their moments. I can see a flash KD for either side.

I agree with A2C about the Andrade under, thanks for the Reyes tip guys, Graham is on your side, a great bet at +500.

To those with access, you can take Pov over 6 at some books, then hedge with under 8.5 at another, though I see it going the full distance. Pov is coming off of injury and will ease into the fight, and not waste energy until he figures Estrada out.

Chavez at +300 b/c of hometown and Kats' tendency to fight on the inside and not use his reach. There could be a headbutt ruled a punch or some other shady actions to favor Chavez.

"the bunker"
i think i`m getting up off the $39 pesos for this fiesta......

these are excellent "fight fan" fights.......not the prospect vs a can that we so often see on these ppv`s...

some of the guys are way over the hill....but fortunately, the older guys on the card are warriors and will more than likely give us our money`s worth...

i see the under 6.5 in pitalua/valero.....pitalua isn`t exactly fleet of hand or foot....and valero will do what he does....this one could end abruptly(and violently)...

also think the "neandertal man"(andrade) has the perfect opponent for his style....these two should be in one another`s face...or,maybe andrade gets cut?...it`s a righty/lefty match-up,so a headbutt isn`t out of the question....seen both guys bleed.... under 9.5?...yeah,why not?...

holt is at +170 now...that`s getting tempting...he has a 3 inch height advantage...is equally fast...battle-hardened...and i thought that bradley looked a tad sloppy and wild vs witter....to me,it looked like witter went into a shell after the knockdown(not one of his most pride-worthy performances)....

the problem is that it`s difficult to explain holt`s brainfarts vs jaime rangel(he should have boxed his ears off) and thomas davis.....

holt is so damned unpredictable....have to think about this one....

as many others,i`ve never been a big fan of julio diaz...but,he always seems uber-confident and on his game vs this caliber of opposition... vs the elite guys, diaz ALWAYS FOLDS.....a step down the ladder,he looks unbeatable...

still,it`s hard not to look at reyes(a very competent fighter most times) at +almost 500.....

Lonchti is fighting Santos in Canada
Pascal fights after them

In Germany, Nadia Raoui just won a 10 round decision
I believe Pianeta vs. Sosnowski is up next (not sure though)
