Thats a damn close line , Montiel would be bigger favorite on neutral venue it seems like .

Seems like it :scared
These bookies are sneaky with the same line on both Kameda last time and now as well . Just - 150 on home crowd hero very suspect .
Didnt watch but looks like he was winning until the point he got stopped tho .

:violin:

Hide going to run through these bums in Prizefighter today , I cant believe commission allowed this tournament to take place. Huge experience difference here even tho Hide is old now . Some people might get KOed in brutal fashion here , especially his first opponent . Really counting on finish win in the first bout .

If Hide doesn't win prizefighter against this sorry lot, he should retire on the spot

I don't get the price on Dickinson either old dirty

Money coming in on Williams, but I see Dickinson with height and reach advantage, amateur experience, and he beat an opponent that Williams lost to

I am sticking with my bets
Dickinson and Corbett

Here is another article (this one supporting Dickinson):

weekend picks

weekend picks

I've got some large parlay combinations going with Alvarez and M.Johnson as the cornerstones. I had Nishioka and Aoh in there a bit. I also think Corbett and D.George are solid.

Alvarez-Cotto UNDER 7.5 (-115) medium Cotto has never been stopped. He has no business fighting at welter though. His best day's were at 130-135. He's also been active. As for Alvarez, I know there are some differing opinions here, but I think Alvarez is the goods. He's dominated a string of competent opponents in dominating fashion. He can crack to. This is a showcase fight for Alvarez, and I think he will do exactly that. Alvarez KO4

Said Ouali (+350) - medium I love is play as the doggie of the weekend, and went substantial on it. Ouali is a good fighter. Fought tough and down to the wire with Selcuk Aydin. We know he's got a good chin then. Saldivia can punch, but I don't think Ouali is going anywhere, so what then? I think Ouali will tire Salidivia out, and probably stop him late.

Good luck fellas!!!!

regarding Hide's opponent:

A 23-year-old Welshman who holds a not very inspiring record of 5-2-2, Brooks turned pro in 2006. It?s a bit harsh to rule him out at such a young age, but on the other hand it?s fair to say he hasn?t exactly set the world on fire so far. Interestingly he was once the world champion at taekwondo; perhaps he should have stuck that.

Somewhat terrifyingly his opening match is against Herbie Hide. Back him if your pastimes include lighting cigars with 50 pound notes.

Damn , the 2nd punch that put Hasegawa on the queer street was kind of like Haye on Valuev in the last round when he wobbled the giant , the punch you dont expect to come .

Yes
that was a QUICK nasty second left hook
Montiel doubled up, and Hasa was not expecting the second one so fast
after that he probably remembers nothing
announcers were funny
I don't know Japanese, but you could tell they were like
"oh shit....no no no no no.....oh no"

ah man
one thing I didn't notice (I was watching that thing half asleep last night) is that Lawrence Cole stopped the fight with 1 second left in rnd 4 !
damn
such a shame Hasa could just duck or hold on
but he was def done
Hasa was owning him for 11 minutes and 52 seconds
and then
BANG
FORMER CHAMP

Ghost tonite at the Tropicana, Las Vegas

Ghost tonite at the Tropicana, Las Vegas

Anyone see odds on this? I am certain Ghost will be a montrous chalk, but maybe he can put this guy to sleep. Looking only at Boxrec it seems Guerrero's opponent has some decent whiskers, but Ghost is maybe looking to make a strong statement. Not sure. I'm going down there and a little action always make it that much more juicy.

I was surprised it was that wide, but everything I have read says Edwards built up record and Johnson real deal
