rd11- clear rd for mad...he pressed and moved mor back....he took a breather and mor had a few whacks...maidana finishes rd stronger...i have it 7-4 but still nervous as hell....Im fvcking shocked mor is still very much in this...
rd12...mad controls the last rd...mor tired and mad pours it on...straight up robbery if they give it to Morales...all the props in the world to him but he didn't win this fight...I have mad 116-112...glad i have a small hedge in but I'll be focking pissed if the steal it from Maidana...

It's crazy that we're even debating who won the fight. Everyone, me included, saw no scenario but a blowout for Maidana prior.

The Kirkland stoppage was actually TERRIBLE watching it back on my TIVO
Kirkland was getting his ass kicked, and he probably would have been stopped anyways
BUT
He was getting up, seemingly completely ready to continue, and Cortez PUSHED him back to the ground. Literally held him down. Awful.
Cortez can go F himself - the worst ref in the world.
There was only a few seconds left in the round - might have been an amazing few seconds. Thanks Joe.

Kirkland was saying after the fight to Max Kellerman that he wasn't hurt/it was a flash knockdown, etc. and the whole arena was booing him! He was fuked up, period. Cortez was not holding him as much as trying to perventmore carnage. Kirkland lost, and rightfully so. Everyone was cheering the winner because we all, who were actually there, saw what happened.

Kirkland fight reminded me Calzaghe/Lacy. Overconfident Lacy got bitch slapped from pillar to post, and Kirkland was already looking ahead as, lets face it, this was an 8 round "special attraction", meaning an exhibition/sparring session. He got tagged, went down, goodnite Irene. Tough shit.
