look at the size of mannys head :scared

it looks like bad photoshop

i would wager that manny takes some kind of growth hormone....this was a 106 pounder(as an adult)....

he`s now a 142 pounder...on a 5`6" frame...with absolutely no fat...

all muscle(and head-bone)...and if you noticed in the vids that weepaul provided, manny`s jawline was much thinner/smaller....

something`s not quite right...

I first noticed that with Shane. When he got older, his head became really big. Then I noticed the same thing with Oscar.
Later I read somewhere that steroids or growth hormone can have this effect.

And all that only with fighters who are jumping weight divisions.

Sounds bad but obviously I am not expert so who knows.

Pacquiao was barely 16 when he turned pro at 106. And that was early 1995. It's certainly possible to add a lot of muscle since that time. And he was keeping his weight down for a long time so it's reasonable that he blew up. That all said, he is an amazing specimen and adding quality, functional muscle seems to be easy.

I thought dimes might throw us a bone on Stevens/Mouton...guess not. Should be a hell of a fight. Mouton is tough as nails and Stevens nearly chased Direll out of the ring a few yrs ago.

BTW, eff Sulaiman for taking the belt away from Bradley. I dont care if bradley had promised him to fight Klit after Holt. The guy just fought Witter and a VERY tough fight against Holt. I think Bradley beats Alexander but the guy deserves an easy fight for his next go. Less than a month after beating Holt, he gets stripped....FCK these crooked orgs! If it wasn't for the networks, these guys wouldn't get away with it. Just my .02

I think Bradley would KILL Alexander.
This is total BS - Poor Timmy Bradley.
All the guy does is fight his ass off - what a bunch of crooks.

Obviously , these 2 shots are taken from past photos, but come weigh-in, if there isn't much size difference between the 2- shoulders, etc, Hatton's focked because he's counting on a size and strength advantage. What suprised me a shade, was nose to nose, Mayweather was clearly, structurally the bigger man over Hatton and Mayweather is someone who started off at 130 lbs.

Hatton is telling everyone to mortgate the house on him, he actually has it in his mind that it's impossible for him to lose. Maybe that's the right mind frame for a fighter, but he certainly didn't see himself losing to Mayweather either, much less get KO'd. How much can you take from the Malignaggi win, given that Malignaggi was apparently holding on for dear life against whatever scrub he fought this weekend, in addition to being seriously rocked by Ndou 2, and even more so against Ngoudjo.

I think a lot of people underestimate Hatton.
He will be in very good shape and given his strong conviction to win I hope he can make it.

I bet on rounds 9-12(both); Draw and Hatton on points and some hedging.

I am realy looking forward to watch the fight live on the Internet even if it is a 4:00 :0corn

not buying this mayweather comment for a second.......i seriously doubt that in his heart of hearts that hatton "knew"he would beat mayweather(i`m sure he was aware that he was a prohibitive underdog to a naturally bigger man)......a man perceived by everyone as the much better fighter...

this one`s much different on many levels......i think theres an overreaction to the dlh fight...this is gonna be a very, very physical fight vs a physical, dirty roughhousing fighter....

manny may win...but he`s gonna seriously get his hair messed up in this one...as opposed to his last 2 sparring sessions....

There's nothing to buy.

I've heard Hatton in interviews saying in his own words he was convinced and sure he was going to win that night.

Just because betting odds say someone's an underdog doesn't necessarily mean that fighter believes he's the lesser fighter or is supposed to lose.

even if hatton wasn`t self delusional and realized that he was an extreme longshot to beat a bigger,quicker,all-round better top pfp mayweather, did you really, seriously expect hatton to say,"i`ll probably lose to mayweather?...he`s bigger, quicker and just all-round better than me"?...

was that a serious comment?....

what fighter have you ever heard come out and say,"i know i`m outclassed, but i`ll give it the old college try"?.........

you expect them to "think/hope" they`ll win...and unless they want to get hit in the head with a shovel by the promoter, they`re certainly gonna say,"i`m gonna win"....

honestly, other than a few brits who may have been thinking with their hearts, very few objective, knowledgable boxing fans thought hatton was winning that fight..he fought hard...that`s what he was paid to do..

it was hatton vs a prime, pfp, razor quick mayweather...not an old, worn down,yo-yo weight deprived,i.v. dripped dlh vs pacquaio....

lets cut through the semantics...are you guys saying that you think hatton`s chances against pacquaio are about the same as his chances against mayweather?....

i see why folks think that manny will win...but,hatton`s chances are much better against manny than they were against mayweather,imo...

just look at the perception of knowledgable boxing fans on this board...

manny was life and death vs marquez...but most on here believe that marquez vs mayweather is a potential mismatch....

one person stated he expected floyd to be a 4-1 favorite...
