Raymundo Beltran +400 (single pop)

I have a feeling that Bogere is more sizzle than steak and I'll take the height, experience, and Mexican cliche (coming to fight). Bogere is one of these guys that has been told since he was an early teenager how great he is and my feeling is that eventually someone is going to teach him a lesson.

Regardless of the decision, you were right on Buck (I realize that's of little consolation). Don't know if this was Bogere's lesson or not, but he's got a lot of work to do.

This fight could've absolutely gone either way - I think a draw would've been the right decision.

Anyone fancy Prince Arron @ +300 on this one? Webb is labeled as a pressure fighter, but against Concepcion in his last fight, he stayed on the outside. Arron stands 6'3" and fights as such unlike that other American who fights 147/154/160. Neither man can really crack, but it seems Arron's starting to find some power.

Congrats December! First one to sound this one out.:toast:

Saturday action

Saturday action

What's up guys?

I'm taking it pretty easy tonight. Arron guaranteed me a good weekend.

Francisco Arce (+120) - small
Got some small parlays with him and Arron involved, then some straight, so stand to win a good bit at better than 2 to 1 if Arce comes thru.

Arce seems to be getting better. Split decision loss against Mijares might have been his best performance. Ruiz has an impressive record, but is really untested. Arce will be by far his best opponent. Experience could be the difference here.

I figure Francisco can feed off of his brothers comeback performance last weekend. Maybe he's drinking the same kool-aid as Jorge?

Other than that, I've got Ward and Arreola to close some parlays. I expect Ward to W12 but will leave that alone. Abraham could bow out, maybe get himself dq'd if he's getting drubbed. I think Abraham will put in a better performance than against Froch, but it won't be enough.

Good luck guys!

The logical outcome is Ward by decisision, but there are some factors that might warrant a little play on either guy to win late!

I played over 8 and over 9 as well!

ward`s odds have dropped a little...so i scoured 5 dimes for some parlays i can use ward in before fight time....

i think this is an easier fight for ward than bika was....bika makes for hard fights vs everyone he steps in with...he`s a powerful buzzsaw....

i just think that ward is taller, naturally bigger, quicker, sneakier and has home court to boot... these slower guys are a really bad match-up for him..he made kessler look slow in california...and kessler`s relatively tall and isn`t slow for a super middleweight...and froch made abraham look slow...ward hasn`t lost a fight since 1996...

i think that arthur gets discourgaded by mid-fight...whether he finishes or not,who knows....

i have several pars with ward so i`m considering playing a small itd hedge just in case arthur hits the lottery...which would shock me to my core...

g.l.,guys..

I played Arreola ITD and will be very surprised if Aguilera makes it past 6.

Very curious to see how little Arce looks tonight.

If he somehow finds amazing punch resistance and KO power overnight (like his buddies Hernan, Orlando, and Jorge), then I'm going to be rubbing my chin a bit.

Thanks Quanah

Thanks Quanah

Thank you sir, though I didn't exactly come out the gate screaming out my pick :00hour . That Prizefighter form really had me sold on the Prince, and his losses to Small and Duddy I basically threw out the window when considering.

Prince Arron

I'm on Arron sizeable @ +385. Arron is currently underrated because of some earlier unimpressive losses. The kid turned pro at 18 though, and was just a stick figure at the time. He's 23 now, has stuck with it, and is now learning how to use his 6-3 frame. Arron is a complex task for any normal sized JM. Good jab, and banging much harder as of late. I thought his prizefighter win was impressive, and he's looked good since.

Webb seems like a pretty solid fighter. Good side to side movement, quick enough, and seemingly good fighter's instinct. He has had a few close decision against 2nd and 3rd tier guys though. I think Arron's size and jab could make it difficult for Webb to get inside and work effectively.

The fight is in Webb's hometown, which of course is a factor. I think though, that Arron is on the upswing enough to pull it off.
I have barely bet this year as I've been working away from home since January.

I have still been following the forum and I must say, you might be the Devil as you are burning hot recently.
When I come back, I think I will just tail you :0074

Props to December for originally posting the pick. Very Ballsy and very impressive :0074

Great going for all the Madjackers :toast: :toast:

Thanks Weepaul! I always look forward to your opinions as well, so post up when you get a strong feel brother. I think the whole crew has really been giving some good, strong opinions.
:toast:

Arreola ITD parlayed with Ward will get you better than -2. Added that small kind as well.

Also just a little coverage on the Arce-Ruiz DRAW @ +2250.

Can't believe we've got to suffer thru the Pacquiao-Mosley rebroadcast on the Showtime card.

Why don't they just say, 'look, we're not gonna show the fight because it sucked'. Anyone who cares already knows Pac won anyhow.

Are they gonna show the Arreola fight, or skip it for this?

I haven't found any links for the Arce-Ruiz fight. If anyone gets a lead, I would be much obliged.

Late dough coming in on AA. Lines have dropped all over. I added Ward -460. Wide line but much better than what most sites were showing. I think I saw a line as wide as -900 a few days ago. AA going to have to knock Ward the puck out to win this IMO. He was a bit exposed in both the Dirrell and Froch fights. Ward not just a talented fighter but has a fighters instinct and heart to boot. Not afraid to get down and dirty. I think he'll try and put AA right back in the mindframe where Froch had him...doubting himself and not having answers. Ward has dominated his comp as of late and I think he'll dominate tonight. Won't be surprised if Ward gets a late stoppage. Probably going miss the live version due to a grad party but will watch later tonight. Good luck tonight Gents :toast:

I agree with Romi, that there's an outside chance of a late stoppage by Ward.

Ward ITD +427
Ward 7-12 +781
Ward 10-12 +2095

All worth the price of admission I think. Just the change in your pocket.

Arreola spoiler

Arreola spoiler

Result is in.

I'm not watching the Showtime broadcast, so I don't know if they're showing the Arreola fight in a bit or what - so my next post will give the result.
