Under 9.5 (-160) @ sportsbook
Just a little play here. My main this weekend is a Julio/Lebedev/Degale/Dawson/Hopkins parlay. Let's start w/ Rubillar. He's coming off a loss to a fellow countryman in the Philippines, one w/ a 22-24 record, weights unknown. At 34, he's moving up two divisions to fight Ibarra. He likes to lead w/ his head, evidenced by 5 of his fights ending early on cuts, and his defense is not very good, either keeping a loose high guard or hands almost by the waist. He's been knocked out 4 times, first by Pongsaklek @ 105, 3k Battery @ 108, Edgar Sosa @ 108, and Giovanni Segura @ 108, all within 9. Ibarra is a calculated pressure fighter who I've rarely seen throw a jab, just straight power punches. He has a great left hook to the body, which he likes to double up. Rubillar was able to last the distance twice against Travieso, but that was 7 years ago. I think Ibarra easily beats Rubillar and wanted to go for something a little more challenging, and I see Rubillar wilting under the pressure of Ibarra.
You missed one of the best moments in the fight. Pascal hit Hop with a huge right hand that froze him but with 1 minute 30 left, Pascal had no gas left to go for the finish.sheeeeet...my hbo stopped recording due to overtime...watched most of rd 12...cant call last 2 rds but i think hop pulled it off
I'm taking a small shot on the +110 puppy Palacios. He seems to have faced better opposition overall.
