Smith is an impressive kid. He's a real fighter in tremendous shape and he works. He had a nasty ass cut and simply ignored it and fought well. The 100-88 was ridiculous. I would have said 98-92 or 97-93. Nice effort from the 22 year old. He's a baby and he's handling rugged contender types. Good for him. Did you notice also that he is all business. He doesn't play to the cameras. He just wants to get it on. That cut will need a while to heal so we probably won't see him again until the fall sometime. Very impressed with the poise of that young man.

Good call for Smith backers, he was so much stronger and better fighter from what I remembered from past fights. Think he is making rapid immprovement. Gutierrez came to win, just couldn't do a thing with that style.

I have a big play on Barker to beat Mc Dermott; 1.36 isn't much, but Barker has a great combination of good skills/ good beard/ cool head.
Mc Dermott seems to be on the domestic level at best.

If this wasn't on british rules ( cuts !!) i would have put more.

Good luck on that one. I added Barker for -286 and -330. The line has moved to -500 @ bodog and -400 @thegreek. I have Gonzo tonight -210. I may add or even scalp...alll depending on how barker does.
