So the deal with the Prizefighter Super Bantamweights is this:

1. It's on Saturday, not Friday (which is a drag because it will compete with the Vitali fight).

2. Wayne McCullough in injured and had to withdraw this week.

3. The 1st round pairings have not been announced, as far as I can find.

If anyone finds them, please post. I think they will be announced tomorrow or Monday.

Best fight of the weekend will be untelevised unfortunately. In freakin' Namibia!

In Windhoek, Namibia
Paulus Moses (25-0) vs. Miguel Acosta (26-3)

Moses, the undefeated, defending champion at home against Acosta, the slickster that knocked Urbano Antillon clean out.

Won't comment more till odds, but what a FIGHT!

Hey guy's what's up? Had to miss all the fights tonight due to family obligations. Don't know a thing yet...came here first to get the RBR real scoop. I'm gonna start from the top and read thru. Be back in a bit with my reaction... What will it be?

That's awesome man
I love that you go back and read it
I like to do that as well when I miss an event
get to see everyone's perspective and see how it went moment to moment
much more exciting, I think, that just reading a result on fightnews

take the guy from namibia

this is acosta's travel manifest: The route from Venezuela to Namibia is a long one. First is a six-hour flight from Caracas to Sao Paulo. After a three-hour layover they will take an eight-and-a-half hour African Airlines flight to Johannesburg. Team ?Aguacerito? will arrive in South Africa at 7:30AM on Sunday morning and after a two-hour layover they will catch a two-hour flight to Windhoek where they expect to be received by the event organizers.

WTF :scared

ambush alert

Prizefighter Super Bantamweights: The Fights Are Drawn
http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&opt=printable&id=28028

THE DRAW

Quarter-finals

Mark Moran v Willie Casey
Esham Pickering v Josh Wale
Robbie Turley v Jamie Arthur
Gavin Reid v Ricky Owen

:0072

They've got to start gathering some better fields, or forget about this prizefighter thing. That one they had with Lynes, Barnes, Rees...was good class. This is a third rate field, and that last crusierweight one they had was worse. Generally too unpredictable to wager anyhow.

M'Baye-Decarie world title fight is in M'Baye's French hometown, so beware there. Any word on the judges would be much appreciated. That's some great info you've been gathering on the judges before fights Ghost. Definitely a wagering factor that we should start paying more attention to.

Paulie going to fight on @147 :scared
Who the fvck are they going to dredge up for Mags to fight @ welter??? I sense a Chavez SR comeback. They are coming up with the excuse that Paulie struggled to make 140 and that he generally had to lose 20 lbs or so over the last 3 fights. Against Khan, he just had an " off night" :142smilie. Paulie was just a terror @ 140 with his massive pop. I'm sure the top 10 will be shaking when the beast moves up in weight :mj07:
