Acosta is a slick little bastard....he better be on his game in Namibia...I was impressed with his stoppage of Antillon...tough fight

I like Decarie's chances, but I really hate the venue
they could screw him over there

I wish Decarie punched a bit harder, but I agree with Quanah
I think Mbaye might be on the other side of his career

do they love Mbaye like they love Mormeck in France?

Two different Vitali props out there....6.5 and 9.5.....

Still looking things over

I wonder if Gonzalo Munguia might be worth a couple drinks at +1000! I'm not overly impressed with Roman Martinez. He has a very skinny, almost frail look to him. He looked like real shit in his last fight against trialhorse Feider Viloria. I thought Nicky Cook stiffened him a couple of times early on, and he had very tough fights with Daniel Jimenez and Francisco Lorenzo. With the exception of Viloria, all of these guys are probably better than Munguia...but Munguia is a free swinging type with some power who has been on a bit of a run lately. Also never been ko'd. Martinez the higher calibur guy, but based on that Viloria performance, I'd say Munguia is worth the long odds.

Why do you like Moses so much? Does anyone else feel this way about him?

I like Moses because he has a great jab with fast and fluid power shots upstairs and downstairs. Acosta's movement will not bother Moses like it did Antillion because Moses' footwork and timing to find his punching range is his strength. Also, Moses punches straighter and harder than Acosta. Acosta looks good against flat-footed guys that plod straight ahead like Antillion, but Moses is a boxer-puncher that can do everything Acosta does except at a slightly higher level. This fight should go to a decision which will also help Moses who is fighting in his home country.

Good Luck Guys!:box2:

At least Decarie is from Quebec. This makes him kinda French, doesn't it? I agree GW, Decarie doesn't look 'that' great. My wager is more against M'Baye. His fight against Ngoudjo a few years back was really poor, and he seems to have regressed since then. Now moving up in weight. He doesn't get off very quickly, like Graham said, he's a 'lazy' fighter. If Decarie is busy, and that's his game, I think M'Baye will be hard pressed to keep the pace.

yeah...i looked a bit closer and saw that m`baye is moving up in weight...the jump from jr welter to welter is 7 pounds....that`s substantial...

might join you guys for a small one...you`ve been on a pretty good roll most of this year...

Briggs should become a bodybuilder!

I put a few bucks on Calloway as well.

Briggs has stamina for about 2 rounds...which will probably be enough, but +1500 looks pretty decent!

Is Sos on the sauce?

Is Sos on the sauce?

Looks like Dude has taken out all stops for this fight. He looks better than ever before. Certainly not calling for the upset but he looks prepared.

Klitschko looks soft and has obviously taken this very lightly. Should be much better than the guy that was chumped by, cough, Zuri Lawrence.

Pretty lean for 266. Most dangerous 1 round fighter in the world.

Anyone know when the Decarie fight is supposed to begin? my books have it for 3pm but they're usually off on the overseas fights.

As the fight gets closer - plus because I'm going to be watching and I want to wager - I'm talking myself into the idea that Eric Lucas may have a reasonable shot to pull the big upset over Andrade.

To make the case, the fight is a hometown one for Lucas - not to be underestimated. It is just 10 rounds, which is also good for Lucas. Andrade is a slow starter and I could see Lucas jumping out to an early boxing lead. Lucas also apparently looked quite sharp in his return bout. Sharp boxers can give the slower Andrade problems, and Lucas is that. I also get the impression that, with age, Lucas is settling down a bit more on his shots.

As for Andrade, he was ko'd in his last fight, and we never know how this kind of defeat can effect a fighter, especially one like him who rely's on his toughness. I'm not gonna claim that Lucas is anything like Bute at all, but maybe, just maybe, Andrade's rock is starting to crack from a series of tough fights??

All that said, I'm gonna go small on Lucas to pull it off with a 96-95 win.

Sykes-O'Hara starts in 15 minutes

not sure what the deal with the French fight is....the French feeds have always, for some reason, been harder to track down than other countries

hopefully we get a result soon

Julien Marie Sainte just won a decision in France over 10 rounds

that should mean 1 more fight and then Decarie-M'baye
