Also announced is that a proposed rematch btw Adamak v Tits on HBO is being discussed. I'm surprised HBO would even consider it. Personally Arreolas' routine wore thin on me (once I lost on him of course:142smilie). On the serious side, If this guy doesnt come in 235-240 then I wouldn't even want to see him fight again. He can always get lucky with his heavy hands but he'll never be a serious threat in the division until he gets that blubber off of him. I was rather disgusted with him losing a fight that was very winnable for him.

Yeah, he's got to stop bullshitting himself and get in real shape. If you look back at some shots when he weighed 229, before he got all the tats, he actually had slight abdominal delineations.

What the f**k is his strength trainer doing for him? Looks like he dropped muscle mass but kept the fat. Actually looked better at 263 against Minto than he did at 250 against Adamek. Why don't they get a real guy like Alex Arriza instead of some shmoe that blows smoke up everyone's ass.

Perhaps Henry Ramirez's duties should be reviewed, too.

Bradley/Maidana OFF...Maidanas back is still hurting. Nothing mentioned in the boxingscene article regarding a replacement but I'm pretty certain Alexander will be more than willing to step in. He's been looking for a dance partner right around that time so I don't see why this one can't be made.

I'm Nastrofckingdamus...sure as shit, Cunningham just prpoposed the challenge to Bradley on behalf of Alexander. Bradley is backed into a corner here and he really has NO excuse whatsoever to decline the fight. If Bradley Balks at this then he'll be looking like duck soup. Let's get this one made!!!!

Bradley vs. Alexander...now that's a first class fight!!! Winner of this one will be top 10 p4p.

Escalante is off the ESPN card this weekend due to injury. Replacing is a LH scrap between ancient Richard Hall vs. 5-0 Cuban Yordanis Despaigne, who was a world class amateur as a middleweight. Hall, who has been boxing as a pro for 17 years, still has something left, and should be a good test for the Cuban.

I agree. There was something about Arreola that looked 'less strong' against Adamek.
He did seem to have less muscle-mass somehow? Maybe it's just hard to find underneath that layer of blubber, but even at 260+ he always seemed big and strong. I never saw him tire like he did against Adamek either, but that was from chasing him around the whole night.

I guess these cruisers coming up have got to be taken seriously. Haye has proved his worth, and I never expected Adamek to do as well as he has at heavy. Geez, even Jonathon Banks is making a little run... And if Mormeck beats Oquendo on Thursday, he will be in the mix as well.

really?...whoa...isn`t this in n.y.?.....

i`d be leery laying real big wood here...but that`s just me...i hate laying big wood period...
Khan is going to knock Paulie on his arse in a one sided beatdown.

Paulie gives guys trouble due to speed. This time he is fighting someone much faster.

Paulie also swells and cuts up.

Due to Paulie having pillows for fists, Khan will not be afraid and will be on a seek and destroy mission.

Like a few guys mentioned about Mayweather finally finding his man strength, the same thing applies to Khan.
He will be much bigger than Paulie and this one will be ugly (Just like Paulie after the fight).

Under 11 1/2 rounds +140 BIG.

Good luck all!!!! :toast: :toast:

Paulie not an easy guy to stop but Khan will dominate. Khan, is a superb talent, and he's been in fierce training.

And don't forget he's in with Alex Arriza who has proved to be a pretty good boon for boxers.

A stoppage is possible but I'm not sure it will come easy.

Good way to put it. He did look "less strong." Saw that right away. Still thought he'd be OK but was not pleased at all by his appearance.

Heard a funny line somewhere that Arreaola's face looked like the Cleveland Indians baseball logo after the Adamak pasting. I guess all the red and misconfiguration. Pretty accurate.

BoxingScene.com was advised that Rene Gonzalez (27-1, 21KOs) will face Urbano Antillon (27-1, 20KOs) in a WBA lightweight eliminator on the Latin Fury 14 pay-per-view undercard, which takes place this coming Saturday in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The card will feature the ring return of Antonio Margarito in the main event.

Gonzalez will replace the injured Brandon Rios, who last week suffered a bad cut during a sparring session and was forced to withdraw from the fight with Antillon.

Bika-Brinkley is cancelled

The IBF Super Middleweight Elimination bout between #2 contender Jesse Brinkley (35-5, 22
KOs) and #4 rated Sakio Bika (28-3-2, 19 KOs) will not take place on May 28th in Quebec. InterBox
received a letter from the IBF early Tuesday morning stating that Brinkley was not able to train
for the last few weeks due to what seems to be a bad flu, and has only been cleared recently by
his doctor to commence training.

This week I'm big on Williams. Hope he smokes Cintron who is still not a man enough to admit he lost to Martinez.

Next week is huge for me as I have 3 big bets: Khan, Mitchell over Katsidis and Wlodarczsyk.

Regarding Khan, I would bet blindly on him versus anybody his team and Freddie pick for him right now. They are doing more careful matchmaking than Floyd did in last 5 years. I agree with majority here that he does everything better than Paulie. Also, home advantage is not too big here, it's not like Paulie is Portorican.
