I think Cotto wins this all the way. It should be a distance fight but I don't know how well Clottey stands up to body shots.

They have Cotto at Boxerc @ 5'7" and Clottey at 5'8" and yet Cotto looks the taller man. No wonder I get headaches sometimes!!!

Victory Lane
Though Clottey has two losses on his record, both came under unusual circumstances. He was disqualified for a head butt against Carlos Baldomir in 1999, and suffered a broken hand during his fight against Antonio Margarito in 2006.

?I feel that I am undefeated,? Clottey (35-2, 20 knockouts) said. ?When I get to the ring and Cotto beats me fairly, I will tell everybody that I lost for the first time. But for now, I doubt that I am going to lose. I feel I am going to win the fight.?
...............................................................

Here is a differant take on Clotty commenting about this fight Saturday night .

I take nothing away from Clotty or his chance to win. Its just that these are two tough guys with a ton of ring smarts. Neither will tire early. They will both be well conditioned and capable.

see you after the dance is over

I'm looking at the Lederman props of Cotto vs. Clottey....

Clottey to be ahead after 3 looks ok.
Do you know if Lederman is biased towards Cotto!?

I'm not familiar with all HBO broadcasts, so maybe you can help me out...

Be careful with this one. My first inclination was to go down the same path, but I have been reviewing Clottey's fights, and I ain't as sure as I once was. Seems the African needs to warm up and get a feel for his opponent. This isn't written in stone of course, as he may do the opposite. The prop is usually +1.5 pts. 1st 3 rds. so Clottey would just have to win 1out of 3. If the price is right, I'll do it also. There is always the outside chance of a knockdown/KO, but I don't see it.
