Sorry for getting distracted by the bs and losing site of the goal. I've always made a strong effort to answer every question asked in my threads and help as much as possible. This week I let you down frankie and I'm sorry, no excuses, I should've responded despite all the pissing going on. It will never happen again my friend.

Followed you on the Brock/ Ibragor fight on Showtime.
Hard to watch but easy to see that was going over after the first bell.
Brock is a plodding holding type heavyweight. Hard to believe at 31 he is 29-0 . with 22 KO. I would say he has been fighting chumps to get to a big payday. I think he is headed for a rude awakening.
That non existant left hook never showed up.
The announcers. Lenix Lewis is horrible. I know he has knowledge of being a fighter but damn he is hard to listen to.
And that Max guy. Did anyone hear him talking about steroids in boxing and just about accusing the big heavyweights of juicing.
Man if Max dont have no evidence he should keep his mouth shut or report it to someone that cares.

I found kellerman's comments interesting. steroids have obviously improved the performance of other pro athletes, and looking at them gives the sensation of looking at greek statues, but other than wlad klitschko, none of the 'super' heavyweights are cut from steel, they're just taller fat asses who can't throw any significant volume of punches after the second half of the fights, if they're juicing, they're being shortchanged.

Well it may be true that Lennox is no Melvin Douglas, he DOES know, from first hand experience, more about boxing than the rest of those guys put together. When a guy gets hit a certain way, the "other" guys say, wow, that must have hurt. Lewis can actually say how it felt. As a side note, today at 24hr. fitness, I ran into Hector Camacho. Heck of a nice guy; real gentleman. He is doing some kind of trailer for a reality TV show, so he tells me.

Having a world class fighter and former champion in the booth is definitly a welcome addition to the commentary. I was just poking fun at that one senior moment.
I'd rather have Lewis in there butchering lines than Foreman making a complete ass of himself.
I always thought Roy Jones would make a great commentator, and he did very well before getting back into fighting. Kevin Kelley does a decent job of talking in front of the camera also.

I get your drift. Same as poor Hector. Brain is definitely a little mushy. But I have mucho respect for their opinions. Foreman was a pawn, as is Lampley. Teddy Atlas is not the most articulate, but has a set of onions and speaks his mind, in his own way. Joe Namath use to do play by for NFL games. Too technical, too literal, too smart. They got rid of him. Not enough bull-crap sugar coated nonsense for the viewers. I understand a little humor now and again, but if a guy has never got cracked, maybe he should tread carefully.
