that was tough to watch. Diaz had absolutely 0% chance and was getting ripped to pieces, when I saw him fall out of sheer exhaustion and body shut-down, I thoguht he could be dead or REALLY messed up. It reminds me of an ESPN fight a few years back, where a guy took ridiculous punishment all night, and then in the final round he was caught with an ordinary punch and simply collapsed lifeless, and ended up dying a few days later. His name escapes me, but Diaz fell the same way.

I won under and pac inside, but dang, we didn't need to see that.

Levander Johnson

I went against a very important rule in sports gambling, and chased my Soto losses with Pacman at -400

I already had $1000 of profits riding on Pacman, but layed $1000 on Soto, so after Cortez stole all my profits for the week I went to every book I play at and put my entire account on Pacman. Ended up making $500 this week thanks to Pacman, but should've cashed at least $1500

Thanks Joe "I'm firm but I'm fvcking retarded" Cortez

That was bad judgement on cortez part.
Lorenzo had enough before the last attack.
To rule this punch intentional is just plain wrong.
I need the under on Pac.

well, look what the cat dragged in.....

being that you`re here,i`d like to mention that we have klitschko/thompson in 2 weeks...

call my people and we`ll dispatch a spy satelite with gps if you don`t feel you can find your own way back to the forum by july 12th....

I was gonna use that line but thought it was to early because of all the pain being spread around. I share some also cause i only bet 200 on Pac when i felt Diaz had about as much chance as Hatton over Mayweather. "im firm but im fair":142smilie I swear this prick jumped in three times near the end separating them when all this did was help Soto's opponent. this is one time im glad my book didn't have parlays cause i was ready to piggy bank you guys. Horrible way to lose.

Actually wasn't Levander Johnson, that vs Chavez and went the distance. This was two black guys with no real chance of winning a title on ESPN, I remember Kellerman commentating. The name "Scott" pops in mind.

It doesn't matter, it's tough to see antybody get beat up like that.

lol I think we've all done it, I did it with big wagers on BJ Penn, A. Silva and Roy Jones. It's irresitstable.

Glad you pulled out a profit.

Cortez's silly catchphrase is sure to be mocked, the funniest I've seen on forums is "I'm fair but I'm senile!"

It's not about you Joe, your just a damned referee, we don't care about your values and we don't want to notice you, just stand there and don't do anything stupid. Shut the hell up, please.

you would almost be willing to give the guy some consideration for having to make a call in that situation....

if he`d made the call...

but,my god...he went all over the ring consulting with every swinging dick near the ring apron....and all the while he had his hand over the hbo microphone they pinned on this donkey`s ass.........and they still got it wrong..

i call bullshit!...

What is weird for what you said is that when i was watching the Pacman fight it took me till round six to even notice what the ref looked like. Now that is my kind of ref.

Sorry to hear that so many lost on Soto. :(

VERY painful loss. 4 weeks of very nice profits down the toilet. So I did the best thing and opened up another acct this morning. The goal is to recoup b4 the end of Aug.

I know it does not help us now Romi but it sounds like the WBC has reversed the decision and are now calling it a draw.

What pisses me off more than anything was Cortez jumping in to stop the fight and then changing his mind in mid stream.
That old cunt should be put out to pasture.

Roy Jones smacked Montel Griffin a little shot in the head when he as down. More momentim than anything. He as DQ'd. Came back to DESTROY Griffin. Recently Kelly Pavlik cracked Taylor a little when he was down aganist the ropes. Same story. Kind of like "in the grasp" in the NFL. Taylor was a goner at this point. No DQ here. Refs decisions are arbitrary and sometimes capricious.

Luevanos mouth piece was an issue with me on undercard. 114-113 Santiago on 3rd card if they didnt let that Corralles BS l stand.

No chance of getting refund if fight is overturned draw. Unless you bet it at some real dumbass book.

I will forever recognize this weekend as "Fuked over Saturday".
First Santiago does not get a well deserved decision and then that incompetent old cunt Cortez Fuks everyone out of their well deserved winnings.

Lets see-

Lorenzo uses his head the whole fight.

Lorenzo dips so far down that his right knee almost touches the canvas twice before the final combo.

Cortez jumps in to stop the fight and then changes his mind.

Cortez DQ's Soto on a punch that barely grazed him.

Cortez holds his hand over his mike so no one can hear him fuking Soto.

Cortez talks about "safety first". This is after leaving Lorenzo in a puddle of his own blood for over 5 minutes with no doctors..

FUK Joe Cortez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
