Quezada did not weigh-in at 239...he weighed-in at 226

Thanks Ghost Kid. That is shame becasue I verified it at three diffrent websites last night and now they all changed it. Oh well, I am not going to change my play, but the news is a little disappointing. :( I don't expect this fight to go the 12 round distance, so the location should not play into the knockout.

Good Luck

Yeah, it worried me too brother
sucks to have bad reporting at multiple sites
particularly when you put in all the effort to research carefully

but don't worry...I think we are OK here
Walker should take care of business

Just my opinion

I think Small upsets Hall. I don't think Hall is as devestating as he looked against Pryce and Small has the quick handed style to give him fits.

I think Simpson/Truscott is too hard to bet this time. The last time the odds were +500 on Simpson to win ITD. I thought this was a gift with the way Simpson body punches.

As everyone knows, my money is on "The Wrath of" Khan.

Good luck all :toast: :toast: :toast:

I'm on the Walker bandwagon. I'm not crazy about the guy and not wagering with much confidence but took it for -150. The line has gone to -225 at one of the sites. Good luck madjackers!

Anyone have a link or update to the Travis Walker fight?

Fight is off TV in Lenmoore
I imagine fightnews will have a reporter ringside
Molina is on the undercard
I'm sure Walker won't step in the ring for at least 2, maybe 3 hours from now
those California fights always end late

I saw Quezada +225:scared . Nice hedge numbers but I left it alone. Let's hope Walker gets the job done.

I rewatched Kotelnik-Maidana today
Wow....Khan is going to have to dig deep to take this guy

Kotelnik is definitely slower on the feet than Khan
and he does not take it well to the body

but BOY can he take a licking and keep on ticking
and he is pretty fast with that straight counter right hand
not a bad left hook either
I wonder if Khan can take the shots Maidana took from Kotelnik.

Then again, Khan may just have too much speed for the Ukrainian. I am positive Khan is faster than Maidana.

This fight is VERY intriguing
The general consensus is Khan decision or Kotelnik KO
but I could really see anything happening
What if Khan knocks Kotelnik down? Surely Warren would like an early stoppage.
What if Kotelnik knocks Khan down like 3 times, but can't finish the deal?

Can't wait for this one.

WBC #11 heavyweight Manuel Quezada (28-4, 18 knockouts) scored an impressive first round annihilation over Travis Walker (31-3-1, 25 KOs) on Thursday night at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, California. Quezada put Walker down and out at 2:57 of the first stanza with a short left-right combination. Referee Jon Schorle didn?t bother to count. Quezada retains his WBC Caribbean heavyweight title and extends his win streak to 17.
