Da Bomb really got dummied in there :scared HUGE congrats Paulie:0074 I didn't wager it but was at least wise enough to keep George out of any parlays @-600. The only fight I saw sierra in was v Miranda and he wasn't around long enough to get any feel of the guy. Props to all those that hit the big dog :toast:

BIG boxing weeekend. My big play is on Marq. Perhaps a dec hedge on Diaz...just in case. Khan/Marq appears to be on tap as long as Marq gets the job done. I think Marq may get the close rds due to that. Have a small amt on Pirog after buying much of the wager back. On neutral ground, I would probably wager more. Have a med wager on Bika. I also like the over for Gevor/Sart 9 1/2 -230 and I'm going to hit that for a med play. Best of luck gents!

First of all, I'm damn glad that a line was NOT offered on the Rosado-Ennis fight. At even money, I would've hit it substantially...

Second of all, great great call on Sierra Weepaul. You saw that one clear, and I'm glad you got the W there. No question at all that Sierra deserved it!

Third of all, I thought Rodriguez did exactly what I suspected. Won a hard fought decision vs. Theophane. But they gave it to Theophane!!!! :00hour :00hour :00hour That pleases me!!!!!
To me, the fight was close enough not to be classified as a bad decision, but I still thought Rod edged it. Theophane has got some cajones though!!! Ghost's description of Rod is right on. He's easy to hit, and looks flustered when he does. Judges don't seem to like him. In any sense, Theophane win and W10 was a good payoff. Good enough to cover my botched under play in the Sierra fight and then some.

On to a big day manana! Picks to come shortly.

Hey Matt, where the hell are ya? This board likes your plays my friend. :0008

Allright, huge Saturday. You guy's will be wondering after this post if there is a fight I haven't wagered on, and the answer is barely. Here it goes:

You can assume all of these are medium to small wagers.

D. Pirog (+160) Board divided here, and as it should be. I wish we could wager on whether this would be a great fight. Very high level here. I watched a lot of video of Pirog, and to me he looks sensational. Great head and upper body movement. Quick and tenacious. I think Jacobs is excellent also, but he is young and has been more protected. In deep water, I think Pirog will be the better swimmer.

S.Bika (-340)
Bika-Mendy UNDER 8.5 (+190)
Mendy has beaten no one, and is 36. I think Bika will be too strong for Mendy, and this will be apparent early on. Bika has been inactive and this bothers me, but still, KO5 Bika

Nongqayi-Rosas OVER 10.5 (-120)
Nongqayi W12 (+226)
I was on board with Rosas as a good size doggie play, but he is not a big dog at all. He has been improving, but at the end of the day is fairly crude. I say Nongqayi's classy boxing get's it done here. Can't believe he was +226 to win 12. Not a big puncher and Rosas never ko'd.

Zbik-Heiland OVER 9.5 (-200) Zbik cannot punch his way out of a wet paper bag. If Heiland is any tougher than a wet paper bag, this one goes the distance.

K.Gevor (-115) Mirror images, and for some reason, this one feels a little dangerous to me, but I am a Gevor fan, and will side with him. Far superior competition. I don't like him going up in weight, but I'll say he wins a tough fight.

two small doggie shots:

J. Casamayor (+425) I just can't pass up the odds here. Who has Guerrero beaten, no one as good as Casamayor? And every once in a while he puts in a very weak performance (Yordan, G.Diaz I, Salido). For Casamayor's part, I've been ready to write him off for a while now, and he continues to surprise me (Katsidis, Marquez). I know Marquez beat him, but he fought very well in that fight. At these odds, I'll take a shot that his craftiness befuddles Guerrero for an upset win.

R. Juarez (+380) Weepaul is right, Juarez is frustrating as hell to bet on...but something may have gone out of Linares. KO1 to Salgado was disturbing and he barely beat Francisco Lorenzo in what was supposed to be an easy comeback fight in homeland Venezuela. Juarez could knock him out. Odds have dropped now, but at this price early I took a little shot.

All right, should be fun!!!
