Welcome Quanah! :toast:

My big bet for the week is Cloud over Woods at -175. I like William Hill as they have very big limits.

I like Huck and Urango and depending on the odds, I might parlay them. Huck is the better fighter and Urango has a tough chin to crack.

I think Woods is close to being shot. His performance against Tarver was just terrible. Soaking up punishment and not throwing any punches. Also, this fight being in America will do Woods no favours.

Good luck boys!!! :toast: :toast: :toast:

I have Huck for a pretty healthy amt and even more on Cloud. I don't give Woods a snowballs chance. Cloud is a bona fide wrecking machine (as Mickey said, "he's a wrecking machine and he'll knock ya til tomorrow"). I have a sht pile on it and even hit the under for a med play. I'll be more than shocked to see Woods pull the upset. I think the poor chap is in for a shellacking. Good luck brother!

Ramiraz certainly has a punchers chance and based on his fight w/Alexeev, he'll be in it til the very end. That being said, I think Huck knows damn well what he's up against. He's not fighting for bravado here. He'll be content with the W. If he's standing at the end Huck wins.

Urango -200- Medium
I think he breaks Bailey down with his body punching, stamina, and toughness. Bailey does not respond well to body punching like many over thier prime veterans.

Unrango Under 8.5 +175- Medium
Urango is coming off a loss and is motivated to win. His body attack should get Randell out by the mid rounds. Plus Bailey is always dangerous with his straight right hand as well. Should be a great fight!

Huck -290- Medium
Huck has all the advantages power, speed, size, location, boxing skills, and top level experience. I see a 12RD UD here with a great boxing preformance by Huck.

I like Cloud but at -500 and him not actively fighting he might have a lot of ring rust. He should still beat Woods by over powering him with volume, but it is too rich for my blood and I will stay away from parlays for awhile.

Good luck guys!

ok, here is my take

I got Cloud over woods at -225. IMO he has just too much for Woods. The only thing that concerns me is that Cloud has been inactive for quite some time. I'm also thinking about taking Cloud via late stoppage. Woods is tough, but at one point the ref just might have seen enough.

Urango Bailey
very unpredictable fight IMO. Urango shouldnt have fought Berto, maybe that fight and the jumping to welter and back has taken a toll on him.
But Urango is just tough, I feel Bailey will have to outbox him to win, which is a possibility.

Huck Ramirez
Huck is rightfully the favorite, but I cannot summon up the confidence to bet on him at those odds. Ramirez is very strong, and Huck has been stopped before. Huck needs to change his gameplan as well, box more, tie up Ramirez, etc....I dont know if he is smart enough to do this.
Ramirez seemingly could have lost his last fight though, which surprised me a bit.

I've got Huck and Cloud, Cloud and Huck. The odds for Cloud have been all over the place, and are now pretty high. Would of course rather not parlay them, but unless you've got some serious wood to lay...

After C.Woods performance against Tarver, I could never side with him...and I get the feeling Cloud is the real deal.

Huck I feel quite confident about, but yes Ramirez is a bull and will have a punchers chance until the bitter end.

If all goes well here, maybe a few small things on Sat. night to think about.

Good luck all.

Mitchell has always been in good shape, but damn he looks roided up there. I wouldn't be surprised if his urine came back funny. Btw, I don't give him much of a shot any way.

Was thinking the exact same thing. The guy is 40 and was never really world class. Mayo beat with rds to spare several yrs ago. I took the -600. But he does look like he's on the juice.

Wow, Mitchell is jacked and Alcine looks surprisingly soft. Mitchell was DQ,d against Danny Perez last year. Perez, you all may recall was shut out by sleeper Carlos Molina recently. And yes Ghost, McGirt seems like a choice that probably won't work down the road. Wasn't Alcine with the Grant's? Those guys seem quite competent. Seems like he let them go because he ate a finishing left cross from Santos- doesn't make sense.

I think Urango will win but I don't like the odds so I am staying away.

My bets are Cloud big at -175 (Thanks William Hill) and Huck IF Cloud wins.
I alway's wondered how Cloud's stamina would be against an opponent who did not fall down. He answered that question in his last fight!!!

I love when we are thinking along the same lines Romi!!!

Good luck mate :mj06:

No Worries!!!

Good luck Boys!!!
