I just couldn't ignore +900 on Peter. Yes he only won 3 of 12 rds v Wlad the 1st go but Wlad was just about out on his feet at the end of rd10. 15 more secs could have done him in. He was also in serious serious trouble in rd 5. Supposedly he's been working on the jab and I've always said you need a good jab to get inside to land the big shots against the guy. Sanders used a perfect rt jab to set up the left hand bombs and Klit was never in that. Klit SHOULD win here but Peter dropped him 3 times! Wlad also doesn't use his ht as well as Vitili. Peter is in much better shape than last time and I still say that Wlad can't fight under pressure. He even had some trouble putting away a very old, fat and faded Rahman. I give Klit more credit than most fans do but I feel a heavy handed pressure fighter will always be dangerous for him. I think the under hits here so I'm hedging on the under. As long as this ends before 9 1/2, I make decent dough...if peter pulls the upset then its a very nice win.

Romi, what your thoughts on Rios vs Peterson?

A couple of good cappers i know are on Rios but I'm undecided. I want to see some more footage. It's certainly each others toughest go to date. IF Peterson can stay on his feet then I think he wins a tough hard fought dec. Excellent matchup btw boxer and puncher!

I got it.
She would be great ring card girl.

a girl like that is just too fine to be getting punched in the face. I almost cried when Gina Carona got thumped by Cyborg...then I remembered I had money on Cyborg and the pain went away :142smilie

All right, I see a lot going on this weekend. A lot. It's one of those potentially very profitable/dangerous weekends. I like a lot of lines.

Although I'm not sure about these first listings, I think these few dogs are reasonably live. These are not my picks, I am not endorsing them, and don't even necessarily think they will win...but I certainly wouldn't touch the other side of them.

Reyes Sanchez (+170) - To me this is as pick'em as it gets. In this case, it sometimes makes sense to take a flyer on the plus guy.

Terrance Cauthen (+700) - O'Donnell seems to have shown considerable improvement as of late, especially after his embarrassing loss to journeyman Solano in Vegas a few years ago. Victory over Watson was a good one, and he's looked good since. Still, this will be his first time in against this type of quick, skilled American fighter. I suppose he beats Cauthen, but I think Cauthen will be tough for him, and will be right in this fight.

O. Salido (+1000) - Again, I think Gamboa is the real deal, and he will pass this test, but these odds are out of whack. +5 is more like it. Salido is strong and gritty. He is by far the best fighter that Gamboa has faced, and I can see an uncomfortable fight for him. Gamboa didn't look that great last time out, and has had spells of inconsistency. Wouldn't touch Gamboa at the price.

Weekend picks coming up in a bit. I've got a host of them!
