As for Macklin Asikainen.
I dont know too much about Macklin, but Asikainen looked very vulnerable against Gevor.
I'm not sure if he has that much left.
Even in his 2 losses, he had Sylvester and Gevor hurt.
I think +380 is worth a shot. :toast:

There really seems to be a lot of love for Ponsawaat, I guess I will have to take a closer look at that fight.

Dunne has a serious height advantage, he is coming off the biggest win of his career and he is fighting at home!
So, going by that, he seems like a threat to Ponsawaat!?
These are just my opinions on the Dunne fight.

Dunne just fought the fight of his life against Cordoba and was still decked twice and almost stopped.

He was starting to struggle BIG TIME against Faccio and pulled the old "I can't see" trick. The cut came from a clash of heads a few rounds before but did not seem to bother Dunne until Faccio started catching him in round 7. The cut was no worse but all of a sudden, Bernard can't see while well ahead on the cards.

Kiko obliterated him and it looked like the first 2 knockdowns were caused by glancing punches.

I saw Dunne on Friday night fights years ago against a guy called Alejandro Cruz.
This guy had a record of 4 wins 5 losses. None of his wins came against opponents with winning records and 2 of them had no wins at all.
He had a grand total of 2 stoppages in his career and yet he decked Dunne and had him stumbling around like a drunk until the bell rang.

Dunne has a shitload of heart and no chin.
I think Cordoba took him lightly and ran out of gas trying to finish Dunne off.
Poontang will not run out of gas and he will catch Dunne with something big at some point.

Dunne's best weapon is his left hook to the liver. This time he is fighting someone who will use the left hook to the liver against him.

I won't be surprised if Dunne is beat within 3 rounds.
I will be shocked if he wins.

As I say, these are just my opinions and I might be biased as I hate the Irish!!!
My wife is from Dublin!!! :mj07: :142smilie :mj07: :142smilie

I usually dont like these wide odds, but I'm on Vitaly @-600.
I also guess he will get Arreola out of there, -350 at 5dimes.

I wouldnt be so confortable with the under though.

i hear you,zerwas...after a quick check at boxrec, this definitely is the klitschko that takes care of bidness(37 wins/36 stoppages)....

after perusing his record,i see several late stoppages vs safety first/ defensive guys with serious whiskers(bean and purity)which leads me to believe that weetalee doesn`t like to "coast home".......

i`m gonna look and see if i can find something to par it with...

About 30 minutes ago, James Kirkland was sentenced to 24 months in federal prison, with credit for 6 months already served. That means he'll be out of jail and ready to resume his boxing career in early 2011.

The ruling is a victory for Kirkland and his supporters because his federal sentencing guideline range was 46-57 months. The judge departed downward due to Kirkland's cooperation. Kirkland's manager, trainer (Ann Wolfe), and promoter (Oscar De La Hoya) testified at the sentencing hearing.

Thanks, thong. Hope Kirkland is out soon. 18 months could end up being 9mos with good behavior. I hope he stays in shape in joint and can't wait for his return.

Unfortunately, there's no "good behavior" time in federal prison. The sentence has to be served day-for-day.
