Damn I wonder who gets all the picasos, rolexes, designer shoes, wads of cash, and hundreds and hundreds of viagra pills?

Guy was full of shit but I always thought he was pretty harmless.

Always surreal when someone passes on to the next plain. God speed boys

Sorry to hear about Gary passing, I received an email from him maybe 6 mo. ago asking if I had any drivers to take that chair to his son in Oregon. I met Gary for lunch maybe 2 yrs. ago and he turned out to be an ok guy.
RIP Boys

Unexpected and sad to hear.

Always thought the guy was full of shit but the finality of death hits hard and makes you not care about all the petty squabbles along the way.

Hope he is resting in peace.

I had at teacher who use to tell me the only day no one is NOT going to say anything bad about you is the day you DIE.........Obviously, he's wrong about the statement applying to the 21st century. :142smilie

To be fair, your teacher probably didn't spend much time in Royal Oak......or Fond Du Lac.

I doubt the teacher got out much at all if thats what he thought.

And, to be fair, I didn't say anything bad about him on the day he died.

She didn't necessarily say whether it was a good thing or a bad thing.

He was a persona. Like we all are. Much of what comes out is true, some of what comes out is limited to online and probably not the interaction people in the 'real-world' have with us. Either way, none of us can judge someone without knowing the full body of work. Either way he probably had kids/family/friends to some degree and his heart attack is their loss. It's just piss poor form to make light or jokes of the situation.

Sorry to hear this. Gary wasn't always a bad guy. He was stubborn as a mule but he did play that up. We argued early, became friends on Facebook then he got mad at me for defending another poster he didn't agree with and blocked me on Facebook. Now he's gone. I'm sorry for his family and the idea that he may have been saved. I hope his family finds comfort in their memories and may he rest in peace.

I think I was part of that FB convo cause he blocked me, too.
Total opposites politically but occasionally we'd trip over a mutual interest and the chat was interesting.
"the boys" persona here needed to go permanently a lot sooner than it did, but that's not my call.
Now the man is dead and there is no chance of that persona returning.
