Bucks is gonna say that one wasn't official. Slippery slope there.

The ones on the show are exhibition but all fights on the live Finale are official. Same as Rich Franklin vs. Ken Shamrock on the same card. They show on their record on Sherdog, MMA.TV, Wiki and the UFC site

No slippery slope here....

Florian fought one official fight at MW.

BUCSnotYUCKS can't argue that. Although he does think Rua is #1 P4P fighter ahead of GSP, Aldo and Anderson so who knows:mj07:

As I said 100's of times....people don't know how big MMA is in Ontario.

Could easily fit 65 000 for the GSP fight, easily.

Shields has no chance of winning......none.

Should be great atmosphere. Hope they have lots of screens up so the fans can see the action.

I know everytime I go to see SF in San Jose I pay 100 bucks for the ticket then watch the action on the screen:shrug:

Love the hate and backlash. Just shows how much attention I draw with every comment.

Sure, he fought an official fight at middleweight, but that's because he had to do that to get on the show. He would've dropped down immediately whether he won or not, we all know that. To actually ever consider him a middleweight in the reference to your "middleweight to featherweight" comment, is rather retarded. But I wouldn't expect anything less from you, or half the people who post on here.

Open, flood gates/haters/un-mma-educated replies...

Well we don't have a thread for it so I'll put it in here now but I just got down for a max bet on Shogun.

Shogun +175 7units

I'm taking a big chance that his knee will be ok which is a hard call being it's his 3rd one but this is a gift at this price. I'm not saying Shogun is a lock but I am saying at this price it doesn't get any better. I've gone back and watched all of Jones fights and I'm more convinced now than I was before that Shogun is the right bet. Jones standup is just OK. His striking isn't very good at all. He does have good kicks but nothing that will change a fight. His sprawl is EXCELLENT because of his length and the way he leans while standing. If he's taken down it will have to be from the clinch which is where Shogun excels. His take downs are very good but he hasn't been in one fight where I would consider the guy good on the ground. Vera would probably be the best but he's not close to Shogun. Some of the guys are good wrestlers but not good off their back(see Bader). Shogun is good off of his back and very aggressive.

I think the one thing we'll see early and often are leg kicks from Shogun. Jones keeps his leg very far out in front to give himself a good base but that also leaves him open for big kicks. I also expect to see the 1 2 punch from Shogun followed by his right leg kick. IMO he does this better and with more power than anyone in MMA. From there it will allow him to clinch and that's where he'll make his money.

I have more to say but figured I would post this play since I just put it in.

There is one specimen result that has not been cleared from the UFC 125 card. Rumor is that it belongs to Silva. That was the latest yesterday. I've been offline all day so not sure if any more news has come out
