That could be the case. Pace lost his WEC debut then moved to the UFC where he missed weight but saved himself by winning. He really can't afford to taste defeat next month
Pace is pretty good grappler. He had a seminar on the 20th - could it have been part of that:shrug:
In a tournament? Here is a little info. He also beat this Rivera kid (2-0). Look at Rivera's record at Sherdog. My buddies kid is no clown and has fought since he was five. Not sure why anyone would get in a tournament and then let someone rag doll him in front of people :shrug:

I think steroids are the one big factor that make betting on mma scary to me. It's the big unknown and it truly changes a fight when someone chooses to do it. If I was on Vera and lost I would be pissed right now.
I'm not sure why but it seems like a lot of guys from Brazil don't know how to get by the drug test.

Not a fan of Vera's but this is the right decision in my opinion. At least we get to hear Vera say he is gonna be this so called monster again. One last time that is.
