There's a huge difference. Here in the states, some states don't have the sport regulated yet. You can't compare the two.

We're talking about a place that has already regulated the sport, and suddenly, they didn't even know about the previous UFC and they want rules that have been part of the SPORT for as long as I can remember, to be taken out?

I agree we can't compare it. Just like you said, we have states that haven't even regulated it yet and some don't look like they will. Fact of the matter is they're having a UFC event in Canada(for the 2nd time) and we can't even have one in MSG which would probably one of the biggest shows ever.

:mj07:

During an interview with Houston Alexander, the reporter asks Houston who he thinks is best p4p.......

MD: Usually people say Fedor, then it?s between Anderson, GSP, and BJ Penn?

Houston: If you took GSP and Anderson Silva against each other, that would probably be one of the better fights you would ever see. GSP walks around at close to 200 pounds. That would be a great fight to see those to guys go at it, but I still think that Anderson Silva has an edge. He has an edge, and you know I haven?t really seen Fedor fight, so I?m going to go with Anderson.

Here's the link.. He must really love this sport! Hasnt seen Fedor fight. :mj07:

I agree, it's rather sad. There are quite a few thats the probably will never have it such as the Dakotas, Alaska, Wyoming, etc...you get the drift.

However, the fact that New York and MSG don't have it is sad. The day they do, man it's going to be huge.

So many fail to understand that Wandy's only 32, just turned 33 I believe. He's got alot left in the tank. I know I know, he's been through alot of wars, but he will be fine.

Rich doesn't bring a style that concerns me..

Clinch up and knee the shit out of him!

UFC gets stronger.......

Good signing.....looks like Anderson may have some competition in that division now! Would love if UFC could somehow snag Robbie Lawler, Jorge Santiago, Gegard Mousasi, Vitor Belfort or Kazuo Misaki but it does look like the division is getting better!

I think everyone in combat sambo is just scared shitless of him...... the guy in the video clip was begging to get thrown (basically gave Fedor his sleeve), then did the exact opposite of the proper way to defend the kimura (he turned AWAY from Fedor instead of turning into him).

I'm no grappling genius, but that guy sucked. :142smilie

I can't imagine what it's like to get into a fight with Fedor. I've done quite a bit of martial arts in my life, last week I tried BJJ for the first time ever. hahahhahahhahah I was tossed around like a rag doll. I felt like a little girl begging for mercy once we went to the ground. I felt like I was baited into doing everything I did so they could do what they actually wanted to me. It was a very helpless feeling. I have much more respect for the ground game now. I'm not even sure they really had me in deep submissions but I was tapping quick everytime. :mj07: what a wuss I am.

According to sources at MixFight.nl, Remy Bonjasky has accepted the proposed K-1 bout with Alistair Overeem, and the two will square off at the end of March with the big gloves on. This means no MMA any time soon for Overeem, and likely no UFC in the foreseeable future as he reportedly still has several fights on his contract with Dream.
