Your some what correct---the prob I see is why don't they boycott the free rides-free medical expenses ect that hurt the economy every day

Wonder what would happen if the protests turned violent and all medical facilties boycott treating illegals for a day.

One observation is constant--Protests of any magnitude originate and are carried out in same liberal stronghold states and cities.Just consider if the whole U.S. had a liberal agenda?

Can't remember seeing a protest of any kind here in the Heartland- in 20 + years I lived here-and would be clueless to the fact there was even one going on today if not for media.

My only recolection (sp?) of a protest anywhere around my hometown in KY was back in high school. I don't know exactly where it was, but one of the other kids' mom participated in a sit-in protest of an abortion clinic. Even though I am and always have been against abortion, I remember thinking what a nutjob his mom must be to waste her time protesting.

one of things that gall me is...i heard a rep. from the mexican counsel (sp ?) on the news this morning say that the mexican gov't. supports this boycott today.....

Was this walkout completely inspired by that outlandish movie? I think the organizers should have been more inspired by the umpire strike - that's what this will more likely resemble.

This idea is about as stupid as that "dont buy gas on a particular day" thing. One day does nothing - and if they decide to extend the protest, other illegals will simply take their jobs.

I'll never be as scared of Latinos as Blacks or skinheads because of the the music of choice blaring from their cars. Yeah, you might pull up next to a few tough looking vatos with prison tats and all. ....they give a look that could kill, but then the music starts - polka-ish mariachi pop or something - I get images of Mexican clowns and trapeze artists or something. It really hurts the intimidation factor.
