:toast: :toast: :toast: I couldnt have said it better myself, too bad the pu**y, spineless, liberals want to take over the world and have everyone be PC and 'dont speak the truth because it could offend someone' it is a double standard and it's a shame you need to basically censor yourself at every moment in every situation as people a) cant take a joke b) cant tell if it's a joke c) get offended if you look at them wrong.....amen Marine, great post[/QUOTE]

Well that's kind of a goofy/obvious comment. How would anybody know of *anything* going on in the world if not from the media?

Now Matt you ole rascal--lighten up on ole dogs :)

What is obvious --if you don't like ridiculous protests--illegals-gangs-threat of terror attacks from Muslims-aids-- ect---don't reside in their liberal strongholds.;)

Call me a honkey all you want. I don't give a flying ****. I am not ashamed to be white, uncool, out of touch, whatever. If you look down on me, then so be it.

If someone wants to use derogatory remarks to me, then their opinion really isn't registered.

Now, I would get a little pissed if comments were made to my family, but that's another issue altogether.

So, if particular individuals from other races/organizations/etc. want to hang their hat on being able to refer to me by a certain name, then that's all they got going for them. good luck to them.

I hate to raise an issue with your Bush-licking diatribe, but I'm curious if you've been paying attention to the current administration and their ongoing occupations and proliferation of democracy ultimatums in others? And you acuse LIBERALS of wanting to take over the world?

Seems to me that there are more than a handful of pu**y, spineless conservatives around here that can't stand up against issues and officials they know are wrong that litter our headlines today. What takes more spine...to go along with the flow or to speak out against the flow?

Lotta honkeys up in this shlt pissed off cuz they can't say 'nlgger'. Relax, you people act like the world is falling apart because you perceive racial name-calling to be unfair right now. The PC thing is a phase and it's already lightening up. I see lots of white comedians just about able to be as much of a jackass as Carlos Mencia (that guy isnt funny by the way - in fact there are no funny Latin comedians) now.

Patience, grasshoppers. Your day will come. And you roll with any kind of diverse crowd, your day is already here. Why, just the other day I called one friend a beaner and was a passenger in a car driven by a Chinese female and told her "So you are Asian AND a female? That makes you possibly the worst driver in the world. I hope you appreciate the risk I'm taking."

It's funny you guys are outraged over something so trivial. Whining like the very PC element you despise.

well, I'm actually not a 'bush-licker' at least in the presidential sense but.......I am not saying the current administration is doing a good job, and I am not qualified enough with knowledge to get into a debate I will admit, but liberals in general love upsetting the old apple cart and protesting, arguing, yet it is usually driven by emotions and not logic, imho......yes some conservatives now cant stand up for issues either now I completely agree, that goes to the PC of the country and how they are scared to say or do anything to upset a minority or offend anyone, so in that regard I phrased it wrong and probably both lib's and conservatives are guilty of the same amount of PC bs, nobody is allowed to speak their mind anymore and the double standard that exists is absolutely sickening, but we dont have to go there..I hate politicaians in general and think theyre all wealthy, agenda-driven crooks, and that fits the republicans, if only there was a party that combined the goods of the conservatives w/the good aspects of the dem's, but I have yet to ever see that and probably never will

I asked a freind from Singapore while back why he and his buddies such bad drivers. He said they are good drivers, but take risks Americans wouldn't. He said if streets crowded with traffic back home, you just drive on the sidewalk and pedestrians better get out of the way. If room on the side of road, you just make another lane and ignore the lines. For fun they would sometimes drive wrong way up oneway ramps---you gotta get American kids purddy drunk to get them to do that for kicks!

Germans told me they respected the driving skills of US soldiers. Dangerous punk US kids good drivers!? Same deal, they didn't take stupid risks. On those autobahns you zipping along in passing lane 90 mph and invariably some dude in AMG 500 SL or Beamer 740 roars up behind you to pass. A good kraut would straddle the line between the fast and passing lane, to let this joker squeeze around him going 110mph. American would never do that.

Driving in Miami is fun, with all the tourists, foreigners and confusing roads. Dave Barry said "All the drivers in Miami follow the rules of the road, unfortunately it's the rules of the road from their country of origin."

Your right about the drunk thing. I met some British broads a few years back in SF and showed off my skillz by going UP Lombard Street at 3 am. Really stupid thing to do not so much because I'd surely have been arrested for drunk/wreckless driving, but moreso because my passengers were foreigners and had no appreciation for the fact that I was violating Lombard Street so badly. It was a wasted risk. Luckily I'm such a tremendously talented driver that nothing bad happened.

I'm glad to see there is some historical basis/reason for Asian driving habits.

I agree with you, smurphy. I don't get why people let name calling bother them so much. If you start getting upset about being called a honkey, then you better not get mad when someone blows the PC police whistle on your ass.

Honkey? Is that even a slur? Has anyone in history other than George Jefferson ever used it in a serious manner?

The implication that 'honkey' is anywhere near the same league as 'nig*er' or 'spic' is ridiculous.

There are no offensive white names. ....not even cracker. The only white stereotypes that offend me are that we have smaller penises than negroes. Maybe it's true - I'll never do research on the matter to find out - but many beautiful women of all creeds are willing to do research. The mandingo thing has resulted in a plethera of women for balck dudes to plow through at a ridiculous rate. Now THAT'S unfair.:sadwave:

Kosar, you run major risk of massive 70's tv show diversion by bringing up one of the greatest characters ever created. For the record, the top 3 70's sitcoms were:

1) All In the Family (best sitcom ever)
2) What's Happening (Dwayne never got the play he deserved)
3) .....I may go with Jeffersons here, but it could be a tie with a couple others.

NY Sportsfan, that was a well presented commentary. Some solid thoughts there, and my thrash at you seems out of line now (and then, probably). I spent some time yesterday thinking about what it might take to try to get things moving past the two sided monster we have roaming politics right now, and came up empty. And I start off today attacking the right and defending the left - so, I'm not really trying to improve things, am I? Something to think about.

yeah i've never heard the word honkey either, i guess the equivalent would be 'cracker' for a white person, and I've been called that in a joking manner from a few black friends I've worked with, but I am aware enough that the n word to them is far more insulting and offensive to them as opposed to terms for white people, I wish everyone was like chris rock and made fun of every race, but he can get away with it because he's black, g-d forbid a white guy had the same humor he'd be fired in a new york minute

Yeah, politics are a mess imo, and that is why I dont waste my time or energy reading the propaganda, watching it, thinking about it, as everyone thinks they are an expert and has all the answers, but it's not that easy....both sides are so stubborn and there is no middle ground, not to mention all the politicians stealing and accepting kickbacks when they are already millionaires, it's enough to make you sick thats for sure, I'd probably do the same thing I can't lie as you need to 'strike while the iron is hot' but some of these guys go way over the line and the average person suffers, thats where the crazy lib's come in and try to think they can change everything and have all the criticism but not much logic to back things up besides screaming, arguing and protesting, so the whole system is a mess as you agreed

"the bunker"
seriously...the racial slur thing doesn`t bother me either.....mavbe because the white man has "the power".....

i think minorities need to come up with better derogatory name descriptions of the white man.....

when you break down slurs into basically white ethnicities it works a little better...guineas,wops,degos,pollacks,micks,kikes, etc...they have a little more oomph, but not much...

you`d have to get downright personal to get under the skin of the white man...

you know...calling teddy kennedy "jabba the kennedy"......or,"the submarine captain"..."edwardo del kennedez"

or maybe "al gore-zeera"....calling hillary,"shrillary"....

you guys know what i`m saying...

on a lighter note, anna nicole smith bitch slapped the 9th circuit court of appeals - )unanimous decision. :)...those old fogies on the supreme court like ole`vickie lynn hogan marshall....

and finally, old rolling stones fossil keith richards fell from a coconut tree?.....

we now have experimental evidence ... the "fruit" doesn't fall far from the tree...

I'm not that fond of your list. Here is where it's at.

A few might be from early 80's, but I think most at least started in the 70's:

Comedies:

1. Three's Company
2. Happy Days
3. Facts of Life
4. Sanford and Son
5. Different Strokes
6. Jeffersons

Dramas:

1. Dukes of Hazzard
2. Hart to Hart
3. Charlies Angels
4. Hawaii Five-0
5. Rockford Files

Sanford and Son! Yes, thank you. I knew I was forgetting an important one. Different Strokes and Facts of Life sucked. Happy Days - OK, that's a great one. Like I said before, 3's Company was only good because of the bizarre and obvious drug messages.

All in the Family is far and away the superior one of the lot though. I cannot compromise that ranking.

Dramas - definitely Rockford Files. ....Dukes of Hazzard was not a drama....that would be like calling Justin Timberlake or Bon Jovi 'rock'. Other than that, I like your list.

How many times was Jim Rockford jumped by bad guys at his beachside trailer/house thing? You'd think he start being a little more cautious when entering or maybe change his locks or something. He has to hold the record for most cold-cocks received by a TV character.
