Looks great.

One thing, I have made a few picks that aren't showing up under current bets (all in NBA). I know I made them because when I tried to submit them again it told me so. Don't know if I did something wrong or if it is just a glitch.

Who is that "AAA" guy? 3-letters handle?

Mmmh.. If you want to bypass that "5-letters" constraint, just type some space(s) at the end of your handle. The program will accept it but won't save the space(s) in the db so you won't have to type them afterwards

Amazing!!! Been out all day and just saw this...browsed a little and everything seemed to work ok. The consensus of top 10, top 50, bottom.....AWESOME, think that will prove valuable....thought I was gonna cap some football tonight, but looks like I will play around with this new toy and see if I can add any useful feedback....initial thoughts as a lot of this is similar to items I encountered with the wagertracker program....

* Allow users to play both 'to win' x units and 'to risk' x units. (moreso for ML sports)

* Should allow for more options than just 100 or 200 as a lot of cappers here play some sort of * system.

* Half Time lines for foots and hoops?

* Did not see Bases, but listed v action option?

* Maybe break out summary into subcategories (fav, dog, over, under....by unit...)

Perhaps some of this is overkill but you wanted feedback. did not notice any bugs thus far and a lot of people suggested many fine things already above.


A little off topic, but curious why anyone would make their picks private???? I thought people post here to share their picks with everyone......

I dont quite understand the consensus frame. Please check the SAC/Clev NBA game and maybe u can seee what i mean. I see that the # of picks per line change but at times its -9/+8 respectively and then later it also shows -8/+9 i dont think that it possible is it.

And if everything is ok then i need help interpeting the data.

anyway just something to look at.

Also i noticed that u can make picks all the way up to the 1st Qt in the nba, it should shut that down earlier.

The game info rollover cuts off at the edge of the browser (IE 5.5), so only partial info is displayed. Normal rollover popups don't do that, they spill over outside the immediate browser window; this seems like different rollover software than I've seen before. Also, was able to enter a wager on Western Michigan after the game started (I know, should have taken TOL).

Hi Jack, congrats on a FANTASTIC job, the only thing that I could add input to that has not been mentioned yet is that what about having it in color?? I think it would add some pizzaz to the site.

One suggestion......
I like to play NHL totals. I noticed that the totals here are not "shaded". For instance, Wednesday's Atlanta-New Jersey game has a total of "6" here. In actuality, the total at most offshores is "6 un -130" or "6 ov +110"
This could make a big difference in bankroll in the end.

Great addition Jack! thanks!! single question: Why should anyone be allowed to be private but listed on the leader board? Seems if they wanted to be private then they should be "TOTALLY PRIVATE". Just my opinion.

to prove a point bill. that i don't need to lie about who i play and lines,i am not here to get trashed then turn around and give all my plays to the same people. if it is a tracker to show how many people are on what game by % they donot need to know who i or someone else plays they need to make their own plays,doesnot matter if have them seen or not they won, and its for % tracking not coat tailing ,it to show what % is on each team then the player should make there choice from that not from who someone else has as a play,if you want it for that read there post when they make them. so why should they be pulled off put them there just like everyone else. not like i am cheating the system or throwing the % off in fact if someone or a few people come in see someone has this game and 10-15 others play it it will throw the true % of the tracker off,its not to see who is the best its to see what the real % on teams played looks like by people making there own plays.

worked as you may have hoped.

The only suggestions I might have would be
addressed to the forum in general.

1. Use this first and formost as a wagering
simulator. It will keep you in the game even
if you can't afford an actual wager.

2. Try to put in your own pick before you decide to look for a coattail. It will make
the consensus a lot more effective.

3. Focus on what really is important. Is it
the glory of being at the top of the leaderboard and wearing a Madjacks T-shirt
your biggest goal, or winning a real wager
with where ever you place a bet?

The posted line here could be 1 point more
than you would really want to play and you
have only moments and yourself to determine
the risk. Would flip flopping your play and
losing here really hurt your pride when you
could sit on a fatter wallet?

4. Get off fletchers back! The guy is good
enough to post his plays and opinions. If the
outcome isn't what you expected then,"Oh well", shoulda passed or played it the way
I first thought. ( I added this in for a
couple of grins..

) But really, you wonder
why you can't see his plays, its like a feeding frenzy!

If you want to use my NBA plays as J.Q. Public, then do so. I will post my first
unbiased opinion. If I stink up the board,
then fade me, it doesn't mean I've lost
my MJ's T-shirt and about to be homeless.
