Initial findings from preliminary autopsies performed on Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, show there was “no external trauma to either individual,” the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday

“There was no obvious sign or indication of foul play,” Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza told reporters Thursday, adding there was no sign of a struggle or that items had been taken from the home. The couple had been deceased for quite a while, Mendoza said.

Sadly people are selfish as fuck, it wouldn't be the first time a couple decides to kill themselves and then kill the helpless dog, it has happened before.




I sure hope it was carbon monoxide poisoning (or something like that) but the fact it has taken this long and still nothing to report has me a bit concerned. You know almost right away if it is carbon monoxide poisoning, you can't even walk into the house without passing out. But yes it could be some other type of poisoning, tainted food is also a possibility, although that is very rare, but yes, possible.

Legendary actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found dead in their New Mexico home Wednesday along with their dog in circumstances officials deemed “suspicious enough” to warrant thorough investigation.

A German shepherd dog was also found dead in the bathroom. The affidavit initially said the dog was in a closet, but police later clarified it was in a crate. Two other healthy dogs were found on the property.



The couple had been deceased for quite a while, Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza told reporters Thursday. The maintenance workers told police they had not been in touch with the homeowners for two weeks, the affidavit said.

Maybe the dog died from dehydration. Two weeks of no water in the crate.

I read where they don't think carbon monoxide played a part in the deaths. Don't know how true that is but i did hear that on the radio.
