any odds out there on a DQ? Have a feeling it gets ugly.

Heard that the Gardens may be half empty. I guess only degenerate gamblers care about this bout. :)

it`s hard to find a flat d.q. prop..it`s usually attached to one fighter or the other winning....

a good thought.....particularly tonight....

It's Madison Square GARDEN, sans the "s". Sorry, but as a former New Yorker, I had to address this.
I think my nerves are getting the best of me; I have been donating to the books lately.

I thought James Toney nickname was Light's Out.
It looks like it should be James"Buttcrack" Toney.
Would someone please pull his shorts up.

well ruiz totally destroys his rep. I hope he gets frozen out of the picture permenantly. congratulations to toney, he took what shots ruiz gave him well, but unlike the hbo cheerleading squad who are lining up to service james after the lights are out, he DID NOT hurt ruiz everytime he sneezed on him, but he did land coutners and flashy rights which coupled with the knockdown resulted in a clean cut victory. this is officially the worse heavyweight division in history, I used to cheerlead it 'all these guys will keep knocking each other off' etc etc, but this garbage is worse than the white hope era of the early 1910's.

jabba the toney, heavyweight 'titleist' I need to go throw up now.

Nice call killer. I got off both of my Ruiz bets 20 minutes before the fight at no loss. PHEW! Butt crack city strikes again.

congrats to toney bettors...killer....and particularly scott,k.o.d.......

beam me up scotty......well done...

ruiz and stoney befuddled me a bit.....no fire from stoney....some whispering in the corner...very weird.......no right hands for rounds at a time from ruiz..he looked exhausted despite a leisurely pace...very little wrestling...

are we sure that was ruiz in there?...and stoney?...lol

stoney kept telling him to jab...and nothing about the right hand that never followed the jab......???

well,i`m satisfied....no more ruiz....thank you james toney....

but,how the hell did rahman, oquendo, golota and kirk johnson not beat ruiz?....

i put a small bet ON ruiz....after losing a few times going against him...he`s absolutely as terrible as i`ve said many times before....toney`s excess baggage wasn`t a factor...because ruiz did nothing...he abandoned his putrid style....and showed himself as basicallly helpless in the ring without clinching and fouling....

he fights a guy that i think is one of the most skillful guys in boxing....and i take a pass because of his weight...i should have cleaned up...spank me and call me nelly...

i have to admit....i can`t handicap this geek.....lol......

i`m glad the ruiz charade is over,though...

i need ivan calderon to win as expected to have a very good night....

please,ivan.....

I follow a guy who is very astute in boxing betting and he is playing Toney at what is a medium sized wager for him.

I am thinking of changing my name to astute KOD.

one scenario I wouldn't mind seeing is toney wins, pushing ruiz permenantly out of the title picture, and toney gets destroyed in his next bout against a heavyweight who knocks his head into the third row.

regardless of boring charges and general public apathy, I can't WAIT for this fight. three more hours!

:em71: :Yep: :Yep:

Yep can't wait for Toneys next fight.

thanks boss Jack.

Just went and woke up the wife and told her I won a thousand. Well almost a thous but it sounds better in wife gambling terminology.

Now I got to take her to breakfast at International House of Pancakes.
