Anderson Silva has been submitted as well...so that point you make really doesn't mean anything.

Dos Santos has 1 legit submission win, but 3 official sub wins.

Roy Nelson hasn't submitted anyone in 4 years, so I don't know why anyone on here thinks this guy is some amazing slick BJJ guy. 4 guys I've never fucking heard of, none the less.

Roy Nelson is going to get picked apart...deal with it
Deal with it???

You really are a Fukin knob.

My point DOES mean something.
When I am sure someone has no chance in a fight, it's usually because one fighter is better in ALL area's, striking and on the ground.
Roy might be a fat Fucker but he is PROVEN on the ground, JDS is not, thus Roy has a chance. He might not sub you but if he can stifle you on the ground, he can still win.
I don't think that will happen but there is a slim chance.

Your credibility went right down the shitter :em38: when you claimed JDS striking is on a par with Anderson's

Sorry for clogging up the news thread but this guy alway's has to act like an arrogant fuking arsehole.

Maybe if guys like you didn't make bogus statements. I argue with FACTS and KNOWLEDGE, while you argue with just an ignorant opinion.

My credibility? I've been watching MMA for almost 15 years now. I don't have to worry about whether you think my credibility is legit or not.

Whether you think I'm arrogant or not, or whether I'm an "arsehole" or not....doesn't change the fact that I'm right.

Roy Nelson doesn't even deserve this fight, yet alone a #1 contender fight.

You love to bring up the fact that he got submitted. But fail to acknowledge that it was by a guy that he previously beat, and it was going on almost 3 years ago. As if you want to TOTALLY IGNORE THE POSSIBLITY OF DOS SANTOS IMPROVING HIS GROUND GAME....just for the sake of your argument.

JDS will more than likely win and that's why he's such a huge favorite but as far as betting goes I think Roy has some serious value. If he gets that big belly on top of JDS you never know what will happen.

Anyone notice the Brock vs Cain line. I think by fight time that thing is a pick em.

Facts and Knowledge Huh???
According to who??? You are a fuking legend in your own mind!!!

JDS striking is just as good as Anderson's???
Is that a FACT or just some of your unparalleled KNOWLEDGE.

I brought up JDS being subbed one time, to say it's not beyond the realm of possibility as it HAS happened before but according to you "I just LOVE to bring up that fact".

AND I AM NOT IGNORING THE POSSIBILITY OF JDS IMPROVING HIS GROUND GAME BUT I SURE AS FUCK HAVE NOT SEEN IT.

I don't give 2 shits about Nelson but I have seen him fight on the ground and handle himself.
I can't say the same of Junior.
He will probably do great but until it ACTUALLY happens, I will wait and see.

Brock -150
Cain +120
In my opinion, this line will not get closer, I think it is set where it should be. I lean towards Brock getting the job done and with more people knowing Brock's name than Cain's, it will probably move to -160 or something. Just my opinion but when you ask a betting person who would win this fight they would recognize Brock's name so choose him. Cain backers, should enjoy my opinion as they will get a better value.

I hope you're right Coach. If that line moves up I will hammer Cain. Too many things favor Cain in this fight. If it's close to a pickem then it will be a small play but it will get bigger the higher it goes.

I think Cain is almost of zero challenge to Brock. Cain, sure he looked good against Noguiera, but everyone does on their feet most of the time. I think size plays a huge factor and Brock puts Cain down like he did Carwin, and keeps him there.

Let's analyze it Bucs. On their feet who do you think is better? In the clinch? On the ground and getting the other to the ground? Stamina?

Brock put Carwin down yeah but it was after Carwin had his adrenline dump and nothing left in his tank. I had a big bet on Brock but man he got tooled in that fight until Carwin punched himself out. He didn't do shit up until that point. Cain is a cardio machine and isn't going to gas. He also is leaps and bounds better at wrestling than Carwin. I'm not sure how you say he's almost zero challenge to Brock but IMO you're wrong. I think the fight is a toss up.

Cain got tooled on his feet by Kongo. So whats your point?

Carwin got tooled until, IMO, a lucky punch against Gonzaga. So whats your point?

Both won, that's all that matters. If you get tooled, who cares. If you win, that's ultimately what matters. So whats your point?

Analyze? Sure, just because someone is better on their feet, that ultimately doesn't make them a serious threat on their feet either.

If anything we've learned of Brock, it's that he should donate his JAW to science cuz he took SEVERAL punches that would KTFO almost anyone. His cardio definately isn't going to be a problem. He's got the background and it's not like cardio is anything new to him.

Wrestling? I give the edge to Lesnar. He's WAY bigger than Cain and a storied wrestling career to boot.

Cain did get tooled standing with Kongo. It showed us he has a hell of a chin and shouldn't stand with someone that can fight on a K1 level. Not quite the same as getting tooled standing by someone with a wrestling background like Carwin. Brock did have a great college wrestling career, I'm pretty sure Cain did as well. Brock is way bigger than Cain, Cain is faster than Brock.

Hopefully everyone else thinks like you do and the line moves up. I won't take Cain unless I get good odds coming back.

Why does the UFC continue to bring in dead weight and alot of it in this case:

http://mmajunkie.com/news/19865/mark-hunt-confirms-ufc-deal-fight-with-sean-mccorkle-at-ufc-119.mma

I mean really Mark Hunt?

Why not give him a fight? How can you not like him? I'd much rather see him get in there and hope he fights like he did in 2001 than watch some boring ass wrestler. fo' shizzle! Even if he does gas in 3 minutes, it should be action packed.
