My best guess is that one of today's games will be a draw so probably best to play both and make some money. But, I don't think I will do that. Wales countering style should set up very well for them today as Russia has to attack, but is simply weak upfront with their two best strikers out, so going with Wales in a Pk. I swore I would not bet on England again after the first game and them burned me again in the second game. I am sticking with my guns and taking Slovakia +1/2. Like it more now that England is making many changes.

Please talk me out of not pounding Argentina tomorrow night. I was surprised to see the line only at -230. I am sure the US will put up a fight but I simply do not think they can play the full 90 with Argentina. Haven't pulled the trigger yet but I am considering a very large bet on Argentina.

Staying off england today but am playing wales a a pick

wales PK 4.2* to win 4*

i see argentina as low as -220 which is peculiar. I cant see the USA winning.. maybe that can do like they did against Belgium and just hope to get past 90 minutes? maybe ifnervous about argentina play the under? the USA wont be close in a game that goes over. prob will have to park the bus most of game ?? Its strange to only see them as 2-1 dogs basically and i'll be rooting hard for the home team but smart money has to say blue and white? not til tomorrow so will see how line goes..

Russia has to open up. Think some more goals will come

halftime

wales/russia over 3.5 2* to win 2.5*

I'll be waiting in the shadows here for the england/slovakia game to drop to a PK live and I'll take england. Dont see them losing but a tie is feasible. Id hink they'd want to win the group though

Poland 5* to win 5* You know what the Ukraine is? It's a sitting duck. A road apple. The Ukraine is weak. It's feeble. I think it's time to put the hurt on the Ukraine.
Poland draw no bet 4.6* to win 2*
Parlay Germany/Poland 3* to win 4.8*
Spain/Croatia under 2 2.4* to win 2*
Croatia +.5 2.4* to win 2*
Czech 3* to win 4.5*

Like it. Not sure about Croatia in this match, but I like the under. Will likely also go with the Czech over.

Poland is a strong play today. They are playing for a win and goal differential against a team that is out. I do not get this line as I think it should be at least -150.

Reading a lot this morning and actually see some love for N. Ireland at +1.5. This is a typical German tournament. They win the first game, struggle in the second, win the third and then keep playing better. Lots of talk about this in the German papers last few days. Hoping to see couple tweaks to the starting line up to free Mueller, but even without them, I expect a strong game from Germany today. N. Ireland will park the bus and try for the draw or even 1-0. I will lay the lumber here for a regular play as I think Germany will not lose but not confident that will win by more than 1 since N. Ireland could lose 1-0 and still advance. Its an interesting game.

On a side note, Germany looks to be better off finishing second in the group. They get Switzerland and then likely Spain. On the other side, they get a 3rd place team and them likely Italy, which is their nemesis. Plus France, England and maybe Croatia is on that side of the bracket (the right side of the bracket is brutal). I don't think this will factor into the game, but I guarantee you they would rather play Spain than Italy in the quarters.

I am making Argentina a medium size play and laying the -220. Just can't see them defending for 90 minutes.

Good luck, fantastic day and night of soccer.

I was surprised with the Poland line as well, got it last night at even money. AS of now its -130, so its on the climb...czechs were +150 and now 130 so i like that as well..playing the czchs on the PK line seems safe but i didnt go that route

I just dont get argentina line. I may just sit it out and root for the usa.. not even climbing at all. people really on the usa?

Nervous about Poland now. Can't really hedge out any exposure given juice on Ukraine at half. Can get Poland +145 now. Gonna watch and pray since it will be a big hit for me if they don't win.

Thanks buddy. Posting tomorrows plays now as I may not be around. One of my best friends from college passed away the other day and have all that going on tomorrow.. 30 years old is just too too young

I honestly have no clue what to think about group F.

Italy to record a shutout 1* to win 2.2*
Italy PK 3* to win 2*
Italy/Ireland under 2 2.4* to win 2*

Id like to see Zlatan go on but I just cant. They need to win and if Belgium can do anything its counterattack

Belgium 2.4* to win 2*

Copa tonight
USA/argentina under 2.5 2* to win 2* rooting hard for the stars and stripes but man argentina is good and legit. no wood or jones will hurt as well. not sure if johnson will be moved into midfield with yedlin and besler on outside? work rate has to be astronomical in the middle ad back 3rd

Like I said before , I think Spain can be had..
a game too late about spain but croatia is a good team that I like. i love my future on them in the bracket they are in
Future euro Italy to win 2* to win 20* just as i loved Athletico Madrid I love a good cohesive defensive squad.
Croatia 1* to win 16*

+207.1* to the minute

I think I found a play a may like for Group. Portugal is -260 tomorrow but to win the group they are -200. I know that winning the group takes help also but whats the thoughts on Portugal -200 to win group?

Condolences on your loss. Way too young.

I am laying off Italy tomorrow. They have nothing to play for and that scares me. More opportunity playing against two of the worst teams in the tournament. Definitely playing Iceland as Austria has been horrible, will likely play ML and Pk line. Iceland is a counter team and plays right into Austria's need to win. Similar to Wales the other day. Belgium is my last big play of the first round. Sweden has not been good and a Belgium win puts them on the left side of the bracket where they are likely the favorite to reach the final. That line has to start rising so will bet after the US likely loses.

I wrote a long rant about how the US starting Wondolowski was complete non-sense and erased it, but I will say now that it was completely ridiculous. He has no right being on this field let alone the team and his play is proving it. Just sad and another example of the issues with US Soccer as well as Klinsmann.

On the other hand Messi is simply amazing. Once he tied his shoes and smiled you knew something special would happen. Worth the price of admission.

Wondo is terrible. Not having wood hurt but I'd rather have an extra midfielder than him at striker.

I should have hammered Argentina as I thought

USA/Argentina over 3.5 3* to win 3.3*
