LB does seem a good guy, but he got what he deserved in the schellacking from Liahovich. After trainer Jesse Reid helped take him to the top, LB said see you and went with fat, cigar smoking Buddy McGirt, while master motivator Reid was the right medicine all along. No loyalty... Klit is a much more relaxed fighter under Steward's tuttelage. Still , he doesn't want to deal with pressure and LB should blitz him, just like he did Golata. Don't give him a chance to relax or think- his only shot. j

I didn't know that. I guess that is were Kings influence comes in. Why anyone listens to King after everything that has been said about him is one of the greatest mystery's of our time. To some i guess.

You won't be there either once Wlad KO's your boy.............:mj07:

.........................................................

thats kinda rude.

If I lose this fight I will come in this thread and say that you were right.

The question is what will you do when you see all the money you left on the table.

I don't wager on baseball and have been saving my money up for football season. This would give me a nice boost for college football action.

I'm just joking with you.....

I won't be to mad if Wlad wins, because I usually don't go heavy on lines, only once in a while. I'll pair Wlad up with somebody in a parlay though to still make it a winner...

I'm not a fan of betting on baseball either. I'm looking forward to the upcoming football season though....

The thing about Waldamir wanting this fight and not backing out is obvious to me.

He lost to Brewster. He will never be able to gain full recognition as a Heavyweight champion with the Brewster loss on his record staring him in the face.

He knows about promotions. He knows how to make money. And he knows what is best for him.

The only problem with that reasoning is that Brewster is going to tag him again, and Wladamir will immediately freeze up thinking he will suffer another KO, and then Brewster is going to step in and take him down like a tree.

When this fight is over I will meet you on 444 Glory Rd, it's on the corner of 777 Victory Lane and that is where I live.

Must be people think a KO is going to happen early in this fight.

Here'e the deal Scott...

I like the Under 8.5 -150, but I already played Klitschko -360 risking 1.1 to win .30

If I played the Under, I would probably risk .35 to win .25, which means I'd be risking all my potential profits from the Klitschko bet

So I'll probably just let my original bet ride and pass on the Under

I will cover your play. Just tell me how much you want to put on the under 8.5 round or the over 8.5

I think it would be worth it.

Waldamir Klitcko

Lost his WBO Heavyweight title by way of knockout to Corrie Sanders (2003).

..............................................................
This seems to happen to Wladamir every two years and guess what, we are in the 2 year window frame looking down, watching the action, pn the anniversary of another 2 years at 7707.

If this had not have happened in a big fight in 2003
then Wladamir would probably win this fight.

But getting KOd like that does not happen to heavyweight champions that I am aware of.

Big loss by KO didnt happen to Larry Holmes until late in his career. The thing to consider is maybe there is a strong chance that its late in Klitsckos career and its time for him to get to monoco to the spa treatments and massages.

2003 - KOd

2005 - KOd

2007........

...............KO'd

heavy hands Lamon and everything will be OK.

It seems simple enough.

Wladimir, who started to box at age 14, won the gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games. He turned pro at age 20 on Nov. 16, 1996, in Hamburg, Germany. He won his first 24 fights before losing on an 11th-round TKO to veteran Ross Puritty on Dec. 15, 1998, in his first hometown appearance as a pro.

Klitschko, who had never gone past eight rounds, suffered from a lack of stamina. Comfortably ahead on the scorecards, he literally collapsed from exhaustion and went down twice in the 10th. Although only one was ruled a knockdown, Klitschko was stopped at 0:18 of the 11th. "I did a lot of promotion for the fight," Klitschko said. "I wanted it to be perfect for my hometown audience, but I did not have the proper focus or concentration. I did not prepare mentally and physically the way I should have. I was only 22. I was arrogant and paid the price. I was having it go my way for so long. I felt invincible. I simply learned a hard lesson about what it takes to be a pro. You must train hard, not only in the ring but in the gym every day."
.............................................................

Wladamir has always had trouble in the later rounds with exhaustion.

hmmmmmmmmmm......

Also fighting in Germany does not appear to help him too much.

OK here is one scenario, they both come out banging hard and wailing punchs to the head, which will tire them both out.

The more likely scenario is that Wladamir has been told to box, stay out of Lamons wheelhouse, and look for the opening to knock Lamon out.

If Lamon is smart, he stays away and gets on the bike for the first 8 rounds. After that Wladamir will be out of air, out of stamina, and knocked the fawk out in say the 11th.

Maybe the over 8.5 rounds should be considered.

The bet to make for you is brewster inside for +522.

I personally took Klitschko inside at -188.

Either way somebody is going down. The +522 inside distance have a lot more value than the +360. (now +400 btw).

Scotty i think Klitz went the distance with Peters so i wouldnt be to sold on the stamina thing. Yes he gets winded but he showed in that fight he listens to his corner now. if you remember Brewster almost got knocked out early and survived before he knocked out Klitz. I hope you win but if i was betting i would have to go Klitz here. Do yourself a fovor and try like hell to find out what shape Brewster is in before laying any money.
