i see lots of people on this over. Might be a quick stoppage in this one. the fake liver shot where the ref jumps in to early. Vegas wins and everyone else loses.

good call, Scotty

good call, Scotty

Clottey was a turtle in another life.

It seems there were moments later in the fight where Pac was blasting at Clottey on the ropes and the ref kind of looked in with a notion to stop it but just when it seemed if Pac turned up the pressure a bit longer, he might get a forced stoppage, Pac would step out.

Pac was impressive just the same. He basically neutered one the the strongest 147 pounders in the world.

You know what else; there isn't a 147 pounder in the world that can touch him.

Mayweather and Mosey included.

Floyd will insist on daily blood tests and 24 hour surveillance to fight him and even if that were agreed to, Money would back door his way out of it somehow.

"Pacquaio is not human, he must be an alien creature, I will only fight humans." - Floyd Mayweather on why the fight can't be made.

Im surprised to see no follow up posts in regards to that fight being a total farce. Clottey was ther only to do what was agreed and get paid. Did he even throw a punch? Laughable crap

It does make me wonder if Grandpa Arum slipped Clottey an extra half million to take his medicine. Dude was useless. I wouldn't put it past Clottey or Arum. Arum knows he is a Mayweather win away from the biggest fight in history. Manny could whip Clottey's ass any day of the week, but Clottey played it ridiculously safe. Looked fishy.

i posted some during the fight. Just watched it again and saw times where Pac would throw six to eight straight body punches with his hands down like he didn't have a care in the world or somehow knew Clottey wouldn't throw a punch. A guy that much bigger and heavier and he fights like he is scared of a much smaller guy. Ill never watch Clottey again.

That was Clottey's style. He's economical. He blew it against Cotto but when he realized he was in another dimension with Pac, He held on tight and hoped to get lucky. And he was trying, in Clottey terms, with a few solid pops late in the fight. Clottey, like Teddy Atlas might say, quit in the sense of not going for it. He'd rather survive than go out on his shield. That's just his way. Even against Margarito, he ceded down the stretch, claiming a bad mitt. Always some excuse. He just isn't confident in himself, and in spite of his survival, may have questionable endurance based on his repeated economy in his bouts. Shit, he even looked winded in his destruction of the late Diego Corralles looking uncomfortable that Diego was still there and fighting back.

Thank goodness someone else saw what I saw. I thought I was going nuts there for a second. Pacman didnt look the least worried at any time that there was another fighter in the ring with him and why should he when hes not even punching back? The fight was definitely predecided. All Clottey did was cover up the whole fight.

Thats why my book wont allow me to bet more than $1000 on a fight. They know its crooked
