He said he wasn't fully convinced she didn't exist until Wednesday, perhaps Manti should send a 'thank you' card to deadspin. It's good this whole messy episode got out there so the poor guy can put it behind him and move on with his life and career.

A guy that is part of a sports blog isn't good on live tv, boy that's a surprise.
Almost as shocking as getting a phone call from your dead girlfriend. (and by girflriend, that girl you talked to on twitter and on the phone, never met, would hide when you tried to FaceTime with her, and you didn't even think about visiting her in the hospital when she had cancer. :facepalm: )

He obviously lied. His teammates have called him a great actor. No doubt he at least kept up the charade for the award tour, even if he didn't know before 12-6-2012.
