It is funny how Dana bashes the hell out of Strikeforce and Showtime now he sings a different tune and we are supposed to pretend he never said those things.

Strikeforce will be bankrupt soon.
Showtime is comical.
And on and on and on.

Now he says this:"
"Strikeforce is going to continue to run business as usual," White told MMA Fighting. "There's contracts in place. These guys are on Showtime. Strikeforce pulls good ratings for Showtime. I think Showtime is happy with them. All those contracts will be honored. These guys are going to remain Strikeforce fighters."

The good news is maybe Dana will get to work with Paul Daley again.

Some good can come out of this but overall this is bad for the sport. Dana showed he can drop a grudge with Tito so i hope he can do it with guys like Barnett. Strikeforce was forcing the UFC to step it up, now nobody is. Competition is good. Keeps guys from getting lazy.

I never thought this was an option....at least not this early into Strikeforce's life.

Wow. I like what Dana and the UFC have done in the past and I've been very critical of Strikeforce's management. I suppose I should be happy hear that the better management team is now in control of a promising outfit.

Maybe they will eliminate all of Strikeforce's weight classes over 155 lbs and focus on the little guys. :142smilie

To be honest i much rather have Dana controlling a monopoly then the NFL controlling one. with Dana he does look out for the best fights. With the NFL if they could have a million teams with their shit talent they will. So many bad teams in the NFL but they are always looking to expand.
