I know its only 5 holes, but this is the best Ernie has looked since 2002. He hasn't come close to missing a shot.
I am rooting for him, he is one of the only ( of the top guys in the world) on tour who has looked the Tiger in the eye in a major and tamed him.

Cmon big easy!!

This reminds me a lot of the Tiger event, Camillo is a fierce competitor, I didnt get to watch much of the back 9, but he missed a lot of putts early. Wouldnt be surprised for a low round tomorrow.

Oh yea.. Nice pick on Chopra :mj07:

Well lost the 1st rd wager against VJ, but looking good with Els ov VJ and Kim has a little lead on VJ, not counting him out yet.

Adding one 2nd rd wager:

JB -105 ov Pettersson

Thanks guys for the great info on Singh. I faded him also, using Els and Kim in tourney matchups. Let's get them home. :toast:

It's early bro. I wish I would have found that info on Palmer while the line was available. I know everyone has different styles, but I strongly feel that fading injuries is the best way to make money on this tour. I mean you will have instances where guys like Padraig lie to the media, or Paula Creamer spends the night in the hospital then comes out and plays well, but those are rare. You will also have times last year where a guy wd the prior week then tries to play the next week like Darren Clarke and Calc, and are just atrocious. I know I found some injury info on Alex Cjeka last year and faded him 3 straight events, and all 3 he almost finished dead last. Homework is key to being successful here.

Exactly right. This sport, more than any, is where you fade a player more times than you play on a player. Let's grind out a great year.

What books besides 5 dimes can Americans use that post some original matchups, anybody have any ideas. Right now, I'm only funded at 5 dimes, wsex, oly, jamaica, and bookmaker. Any advice there much appreciated.

5 dimes is the only one u need for golf if you are gonna do matchups. They usually offer a line on everyone in the field. Other books like bodog, bookmaker and greek use the same lines for the most part.

Camillo is a great after shooting a tough round 1 :0corn :0corn
Thanks 5 dimes for not offering a matchup with him while i was home.

Anyway, him and AK are right back in this.. Ogilvy is one of the better closers on tour, should be a fun weekend.

Let's hope Ernie can figure out his putter :00x25 .. and that Vijay struggles continue. BOL!

Anyone see Boo's 5 putt on 18 yesterday?
Shot 3 33 yds to green, 13 ft to hole
Shot 4 putt 18 ft 6 in., 5 ft 3 in. to hole
Shot 5 putt 5 ft 8 in., 9 in. to hole
Shot 6 putt 15 in., 7 in. to hole
Shot 7 in the hole

Announcer was like Boo, you've been known to get upset and throw your clubs and beat up your bag. And boo replied, yes sir, its my stuff.. so what :mj07:

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Saturday:

McLachlin(+103) over Chopra
- - Have to give Parker a chance to carry my cash on today's repairing. Still a chance for a shift to non-prevailing Kona winds, and the local boy will have a clear mind on what he's doing. I don't think McLachlin thinks he's gotten the most out of his game for two days, i.e., I don't think he was a million miles away coming in, i.e., . . . My immediate instinct was I didn't like facing Chopra, then quickly decided I've formed an opinion on the struggling defending champ, who was off first and by himself yesterday, and that makes it just the play. ANGLEs for a play with value, IMO . . . Obama would agree the picture alone is worth something @700+ on Betfair IF it's a day when maybe few keep moving in a changing breeze?

P.S. 225/1 Win Only @ 5dimes with Singh if there's a changing breeze when he's T7 in GIR?

Do you think GIR stat here is important? I mean the greens are the easiest to hit on tour. Vijay's 34 putts yesterday tell me that he is not hitting it close.

I threw in the P.S. FWIW because I thought the 225/1 was the item that needs to be assessed for any value.

GL

Appreciate the response and the due diligence you put into each pick. Good luck with Ogilvy :mj06:

Gotta love this pre tournie quote from Vijay

'Someone asked me today if I still feel like the best putter in the world. I don't feel like it -- I am. '

Sounds like he has one of the same mental coaches that has been trying to fix Els.

Good lord I am terrible on the 18 hole matchups, thank goodness for my 72 holers which should come in.

0-4 on 18 holers but we'll give it the old college try again, if I don't win one of these I am sticking to 72 holers the rest of the year

Love -.5 ov Perry +110
Z Johnson -105 Ov Boo

They moved the tee times up due to weather, are they going to move up the TV coverage? I would prefer not to see this in tape delay.
