Mercedes Championship (2009)

Ernie has basically turned into Sergio of 2000 - 2009.
Ernie Els posted a third round of even-par 73 at the Mercedes-Benz Championship.
Els started the day in third place, but 34 putts on the round sank any chance of keeping pace with the rest of the field. He finished the third round 10 strokes off the lead and in a tie for 11th place.

Im really worried that he comes out today, all depressed and shoots like 76. God I hope that doesnt happen.

Camilo starts with a double and finishes -7 for the day...9 birds in 11 holes.

What about Chopra.. Shoots 79 in round 1, has 4 doubles for the tourney and is still 4 under. Best putter on tour, hoping he gets hot today.

They moved the tee times up due to weather, are they going to move up the TV coverage? I would prefer not to see this in tape delay.

XM Radio is free if you go to pga tour.com .. they are moving their coverage up. I don't think the golf channel will, not like it will matter since the majority of the world will be watching the golf.

Lets bring home the Singh fades. :toast:

KENNY PERRY: Yeah, I'm really sick. I've got a real bad sore throat. I'm really weak-feeling. I hit two big slices off of the last two holes, which for me is unbelievable. I mean, I don't hit a slice with the driver.

I'm just like pond water now. I'm really weak.

I hung in there. It was a good, solid day. I felt okay the first nine, but the longer we got, I just got weak.
Didn't seem to effect him in round 3.
