I even saw some people post here about betting down to -6.5, which is a PU cover right now......did CMU blow their wad coming all the way back only to run out steam here at the end? You see this a lot in basektball games where a team comes from way behind, but has nothing the last few minutes as a result.....Tiller will try to score another TD even if they get a stop, but worst case from CMU backers is a back door possibility....considering this was a dead bet at the half, i'll take my chances right now as a CMU backer.....kind of exciting that the cover, and game for that matter, can still go either way.

I think that's exactly what happens. I don't think CMU scores again, and I think Purdue seals it with a TD on their next possession. Just my opinion but it seems like it's going to shake out that way.

College FB is definitely more exciting than the Pros..

Prophet...clearly you have been through these wars before. Thanks for having a thorough and balanced look at things. Good luck to you, even though we are on opposite sides tonight.

I tell ya what, a lot of people are going to be pizzed if CMU comes all the way back to tie it, then gives up 14 straight to end the game. :scared

With the field position as it is, Purdue could almost be in position to kill the clock if they drive within the CMU 30 after five first downs or so.......that punt made things difficult for the favorite......we'll see. :0corn

I guess Tiller is trying to cover the spread. Why else is he chucking the ball down the field when he can pick up 3 or 4 first downs and the clock runs out:shrug:

First he does not use any timeouts at the close of the first half, which prevented his team from having any legit chance of getting a drive started before intermission.....now he wastes a timeout on a bad challenge when his team might just need it to get PU off the field.

What are these guys thinking half the time!?!?!
