I guess everyone was correct, the MAC really SUCKS! CMU is playing worse defense than a bad high school team now and this game has woodshed written all over it.

Purdue isn't even that good of a football team. Just shows how bad the MAC really is....... appalachian st could prolly take central michigan to the woodshed :mj07:

Whenever CMU has struggled they've leaned on QB runs to shake them out of it......they need to milk LeFeavor's legs to get a drive going and find a way to get back into this thing.

The only way CMU stays in this game is to blitz alot... someone has to hurry Painter or plant him in the ground. Dan LeFevour is not very good... They need some trick plays or something to spark their offense and keep Purdue off balance
Yeah, terrible decision IMO. Your team can't get a stop to save their lives, you need to give up the convential thinking at this point. Who cares if it's early in the game. You're going to have to gamble, and you're going to have to get turnovers, because your D obviously can't get stops.
One good thing about this game... maybe we can finally get rid of the ridiculous reasoning that just because a team has 8 or 9 wins they "deserve" to be in a bowl. CMU is an embarrassment.
