I tried to make that argument several times, look at the team not the conference. Good is good weather you are auburn, SC, OU or Utah. Don't look at what one team beat another team by, it just doesn't work that way.

Where is my double standard? I dont think there are any great conferences this yearand I havent said otherwise. I would rate SEC #1, and probably Big 12 2 but the league was top heavy and the second half was pathetic. P)ac 10 had 2 excellent teams an interesting Oregon State team and a jekyll/hyde ASU and alot of pathetic teams. There are alot of bad teams these days in all the leaqgues. Heck, the pac 10 and some other conferences didnt even fill their bowl allotments.

this OU team that just got spanked by USC shut out Texas and Cal almost beat USC when they were healthy so take off the blinders cause if any team is overrated is UT.

an offense that leads the SEC in scoring is unimpressive?

if your defense (by the way, the #1 defense in the country) is that good you don't have to play from behind and you can be as conservative as you want to be.

that conservative offense and defense only went 13-0.

southern cal was great tonight. they took control because of mental errors and mistakes, which are part of the game.

but, this is still the same sc team that struggled with vt, stanford, cal, oregon st., and ucla.

hell they struggled with Arizona for 40 mins......then they won 49-9
