Sure he lowered the deficit but the US debt has more than doubled from $6.3 trillion to $13.6 trillion since he took office.
Morris,
The public debt was at 7.7 trillion and cumulative debt 11.8 trillion when he took office. President Obama never signed a budget for fiscal year 2009 as that is signed on 9/30/2008 by the outgoing president. President Obama's spending or debt increases as calculated by percentage of GDP have steadily decreased. There is much more to it than the number. The President that grew the most debt by percentage of GDP is easily Ronald Reagan, which led to a recession of course. G.W. Bush tried to get close but he hit recession faster.

Ummmmmmm you do know that the National debt, which is what we are talking about, is not the same as the budget deficit don't you?

Your post is concerning the budget deficit, which also isn't factual as a matter of happenstance I'm sure, which is not the topic at present.

Here are the numbers as what each president added to the national debt in both dollars and as percentile increases. As you can clearly see any mention of President Obama adding more than all other presidents combined is farcical and wholly untrue, but people believe what they want to I suppose.

Notice how much Reagan spent? There wasn't even a war or a great depression or recession to dig ourselves out of at the beginning of his term. Unfortunately, his miserably woeful economic plan put us into one by the time Nancy's term was over.

Hope this helps,

Not counting the 85 billion per month Obama had Feds print each month up until this year to prop up economy? How about all of the increases in Obama Care that were designed to take place after he left office so it would look better on his resume.
Bottom line he is gone in January and about 60 million people are glad about that.

You're such a bloviating imbecile Lowell. All his numbers are included, except the ones you make up in that pea-sized bigot brain. First, it's November dumbfuck do the budget for his final fiscal year is already signed and enacted.

You see slowelll, not everyone is as gullible as you, nor nearly as stupid.
You say 50 million people are glad he's leaving huh? Have you any idea how stupid of a statement that is? Can you even fathom that the nexus you've created or assumed between votes for Trump and those individuals feelings towards our current President is something only an idiot such as yourself would presume.
It's so stupid there are even several levels of ignorance shown by you in one single statement.

First, Trump lost the popular vote by close to now 1 million votes, to Hillary Clinton. Obama beat Hillary Clinton in the previous primaries by a good margin.
Trump received less votes than McCain and Romney who both lost to Obama by the largest margin of votes in history respectively.
So common sense and what us educated people like to call math would bear a completely opinion about who's happy he's leaving. If he could have stayed a third term, I guaranfuckingtee you he'd have been elected over Trump in a landslide.
He enjoys a nice approval rating both basically and internationally whereas the buffoon you relate to, enjoys the opposite.

Look, we all know you're an idiot that adds nothing of import to this site. I'm assuming you enjoy the moniker as you're told exactly that every time you post, yet continue to do and say the same tired old crap in every post.

Get back to us in 4 years. Until then go cry on Clinton's shoulder.
Obama said the election was about continuing his legacy.
America has spoken.
Time for the Trump legacy to begin. Hope he picks a conservative for every cabinet member.
