I disagree. Anyone that would vote for the most corrupt, bought, dirty, globalist puppet in political history is Gullible.
The working class and rural America have had enough of big government, corruption and the degrading of Christian family values. This election was way bigger than Trump the man.

Lets Make America Great Again!

Trump as pres is a little scary, but America has spoken. They are done with the status quo. I felt similar anxiety with O, but he had a solid run. A couple things come to mind this morning......

1. Walls and mass deportations wont get through congress. Trump was talking ish on that stuff, anyway. Anyone thinking otherwise is not as smart as they think.

2. I bet trump sheds his over-the-top, reality TV persona and becomes a civil leader. I skimmed thru his victory speech, and i appreciate the tone. A clear step in the right direction. Still, he should not be allowed to tweet until January, 2021

3. The best part of election coverage was watching Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow struggle to deal with this upset.

4. During O's 8 years, esteemed board members have called our four musketeers( hedgie, lowell, skul and ray )America haters for not supporting the POTUS. Let's see if the esteemed board members love America by supporting this POTUS.

5. Screw moving to Canada. Nothing but a bunch of Snow Mexicans up there, but im glad to have dual citizenship with Spain:0074

You act like you were chained to a post for the last eight years, and were just freed today.

Your life isn't any different today, than it was yesterday. Odds are pretty good that in four years, you will be exactly where you have been for the last umpteen years.

The beauty of this is, that when Trump doesn't fulfill any of his promises (you know.....same as every other politician throughout history), you will cry about how his hands were tied because the Dems fucked up the "system" so bad for almost 10 years.

The only thing that ever changes, is which side is blaming which.

The people who actually run our lives must laugh their asses off.

You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You get what you need.

And this was needed.

Great acceptance speech.

Thank God Trump had the wearwithal to see this overthrowing of the crooks and cronies running this country into ruin. It will be quite a sight to see all of them kissing his ass to keep their cushy jobs now.

It is going to be interesting to see what happens now with the Clinton Foundation.
I have a feeling foreign donations may fall off now that you cannot Play to Play.

I hope he just leaves them alone and spends time on more important matters.
Picking his cabinet, strengthening the military, defeating ISIS, kicking every illegal immigrant criminal out of the country, securing the borders, picking nominee for Supreme Court and restructuring trade deals to benefit USA are more important issues.
Let Hillary & Bill fade into the sunset.

With a little luck, Bill + Hillary will get matching pin-striped orange jump suits.....

Hopefully Trump does some serious good...if nothing else (barring a coup) he has thrown a serious monkey wrench into the establishment.....maybe political correctness will become a distant relic.....

Congrats to those that supported him. Please make sure to follow him on twitter and look for him in his upcoming court case for fraud at Trump university in 20 days. Then look for his upcoming special in December when he goes to court for sexual assault.

I'm happy for those that wanted him and commiserate with those that didn't.

Yes dead money, maybe political correctness will go away and you can go back to being rude and make hurtful statements towards others and finally feel good about calling a spade a spade again.

It's all one big puppet show. Cie and YYZ hit the proverbial nail on the head with their posts...they are both spot on. Just like with every election, very little will change in any of our day to day lives.

Stock market crash? Looks good to me, up 50 points last time I checked.

It's all noise, plain and simple, from both sides.

To call people "dumb" for voting for Trump is failing to understand how we even got to this point. There are dumb voters on both sides of the fence.

I did find it curious last night when the black pundit on CNN was literally in tears and called this "white-lash". So, blacks coming out in record numbers to support Obama in '08 and '12 because they felt misrepresented is okay, but whites who then felt like they had been ignored who then vote to reflect that is called "white-lash"? So was it black-lash in '08 and '12?

Plain and fucking simple- the democrats went way too far left. They lost the blue dogs. This is on them, and on Hilary.

Oh, and one more thing. Huge, huge props to Nate Silver at FiveThirtyEight. I followed his site for the past 6 months. He was the only one who gave Trump a chance. By doing so, he got absolutely scorched by mainstream media. He refused to take polls at face value and used multiple parameters to give him what he felt were more real data. He was vilified for manipulating poll data for his own purpose. The truth of the matter is that he's a statistician and he was just doing what math nerds do. But he was the only guy in this country who gave Trump a statistical chance to win. Brilliant guy.
