Great win for the Terps.....what an awesome game.....Vazquez had an interesting line 12 pts, 11 assists, and 6 boards....Osby played tough too.

Looks like the Trojans are taking down the Bruins as well.

USC and Maryland. Two talented teams, but had not really distinguised themselves at all.....looked like they were headed for an NIT showdown in March.....but they both got rhuge road victories today. In fact, I would say today they got the biggest wins of anybody else this season.

Can these clubs keep this momentum going through two very grueling league slates? We'll see, but they both got big time shots of adrenaline today.

Fun stuff!!!

Tell me about it. I took the Cuse early. Once I saw everyone on the board I knew it would be a L. btw, I think you will see the same numbers of people going on TN. This is a perfect day for the dogs.

BIG DAY FOR DOGS.............My question? Will it continue? Memphis? Kansas? Duke?

So far it is in the higher profile games.....i really want Clemmie to give Duke a game, but I wont bet on it because I always seem to get killed when I go against the Dookies at home.

I like Missou tonight, however....they beat Texas at home last week......I think tonight's game in Columbia will be a blast and I like the home dog tonight!

Another upset brewing down on the Plains.....Auburn up 3 less than four to go.

Duke had one explosive run early in this game and they've been playing with a healthy lead ever since.....it will be interesting to see in Clemmie has the chops to dig down and somehow make this a game.....last Sunday, UVA was completely overmathced and never came close to Duke, but the Tigers are a better team and are actually killing Duke on the glass, so they have some positives to build on.

Color me officially impressed with Clemson right now.....lesser teams would have folded and been still down double digits after that start.....Tigers really taking it to Duke right now.....Duke has got a high ranking and all that, but the club still has a lot to prove--its so young....they kinda wilted against Pitt a few weeks back, so lets see how they respond to this challenge now.

Clemson looks so business like and not at all giddy about being in the game. Maybe they are for real this year?

Of course, with 13 minutes to go, Duke is already shooting 1 and 1 and in the bonus.....I'll just let that fact stand alone and let everyone else conclude what they want.

Guess Clemson isn't quite ready for primetime. Kept it close for a while, now getting laughed off the court. Clearly not in the same league as Duke.

Ok, you can uncolor me impressed with Clemson now.....20 turnovers, cant hit their free throws, cant even make a pass without the zone defense picking it off....they went from 61-60 up to 81-65 down and its not like Duke is playing lights. The Tigers just keep making bad passes.

I am impressed with baylor. looks like they might get a big road win at Nebraska. If Drew gets this team in the tourney, he ought to be coach of the year.....what a reclamation project from where the team was three years ago.....they are fun to watch, too.

Anyone interested in the Valpo-CSU game.....CSU is +7 from the free throw department....both teams shooting in the high 30s....and both have just 2 treys, neither shooting well behind the arc....the trey is main weapon for Valpo and their ranked 19th in 3-pt percentage in the country....if they can heat up from behind the arc, they ought to be able to carve into the 7-point halftime deficit.

I have Valpo +2, so I am actually watching this one with interest.

I'm trying to juggle Mizzou, Iowa and NC State right now. Mizzou looks really good, but then again so did Clemson for about 30 minutes. :mj07: I like Mizzou's chances a lot more though because they're at home. I even have some of the ML so needless to say I'd love to see them get it done.

GL with Valpo!

Everytime Valpo looks to make a run CSU has an answer.

I too like Missou's chances, but they played real well that first half, but find themselves down by 2 at the break.....hope that does foretell a letdown in the second half......it has been a fun game so far......if they can play in the opening segment of the half, I think the Tigers will be there the whole way and can win it in the end.

Glenn, what was the ML.....totally pulling for you to nail that.

You were watching Iowa? Hope you won on them....why in the world was Michigan favored against anyone....and more importantly, how did I miss the boat there!?!?!

Yeah, it's scary that they played so well but still find themselves down 2. I hope there's no big run by Kansas in the 2h.

I didn't actually watch Iowa. Was following it on the Net. They let Michigan hit a bunch of 3's at the end but still won by 8.

Mizzou ML was +290. :0corn

Let's go Tiiiiiiigers!

Holy crap!!! They covered?! How the hell did that happen?! I wasn't watching the game, but gamecast says they tied the game with 8 seconds, then won it with a layup with 1 second to go? I take it there was a steal? NICE!!!

Also very nice that Mizzou came back and stayed within the number! Congrats to us TP!

They missed a lay up, but got a put back slam off it to tie w/ 7 seconds, then Gavin Grant--who was huge--stole the inbounds pass and laid it home. Four points in the final 7 to go from down 2 to up 2.....pretty amazing finish.

While not as dramatic, so too was the KU-MU finish.....KU missed some free throws and luckily MU did not foul with three seconds to go and just let the clock die out!!

Went 2-1 on the night games.....I'll take that everytime.

Always good winning some dough with ya Glenn!!

We'll probably bump into each other in a football thread tomorrow sometime!

Wow. What a finish! And you're right, it's a miracle that Mizzou didn't foul at the end with a few seconds left. Usually they do.

Yep, I'll probably see you tomorrow. I really don't have a read on the Pats game but I like the Pack quite a bit tomorrow. Hope you do too! :SIB
