This is when i have to give Dana props or being just a bit selfish for myself cause im dying to see this fight. I think Dana is a huge fight fan and wants to see this fight bad. i had a feeling Okami was gonna have some sort of mystery illness but Dana found another solution. Awesome can't wait for this fight. The thought of Okami upsetting Vitoir and then Vitor never getting a shot could have realistically happen.

Efrain Escudero has been working closely with Bellator on coming to the organization. It appears to be a lock, but he will meet with Strikeforce this upcoming week.
The news is probably out by now, but when Cro Cop and Frank Mir were in the clinch, Cro Cop said something along the lines of 'I really want to knee you', Frank Mir responded with 'You can try, but just watch the nuts'.
Sakuraba still plans on competing in MMA with Dream.
M-1 Global's Evgeni Kogan has been in New York in order to 'bypass' Strikeforce and work a deal directly with Showtime to extend his contract with the two companies. It looks like negotiations are going well.

All those quotes are his, not mine.
There's still a relatively strong chance that Chael Sonnen may be exonerated in this whole 'UFC 117 steroid scandal'. The rumor is that Team Quest has injected Chael Sonnen with direct 'testosterone' in the past and there doesn't seem to be an explicit policy against it.
A few weeks ago, I mentioned that G4TV intends to push their MMA venture full force in 2011. Now it looks like Bjorn Rebney may drop his deal with Fox Sports Net and hop aboard with G4TV. Currently, the network has been showing muay-thai events which have been met with some moderate success.

Look how Duffee got fired. Boy i was starting to nudge kick over a bit and start to be a fan of Dana's but this kind of stuff legitimizes Weasel, Kegray, Weepauls and others nastiness towards Dana. Depends on what he said but do u really have to fire the guy? Im sure it was something about pay. Dana wants lower tier guys to lay their life on the line every single fight then give them 8 grand for their effort while the company is worth 2 billion now:shrug: . Trust me this isn't the only guy saying this. Most are just doing it under their breath. Who wants to work for someone where u are basically a slave and have to be treated like a child because of something u might have said that hurt Dana's feelings? Couldn't Dana try something else like say pull the guy to the side and have a talk with him? Lots of guys on this planet get sick to their stomach when they have to become yes men.

If he's being taken advantage of and feels like a slave, why not just quit? Is he just a glutton for punishment? If someone hates their job that much but continues to work for their employer, it's hard for me to have much sympathy for them. :shrug:
And just to be clear, I wasn't trying to be 'pro-Dana' or anything. I'm just saying a lot of employers have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to things like that. Maybe Dana figured if he let this guy slide it would make other people think they can do the same thing, and then things might get out of control.
If anything it sounds like Dana and the UFC went out of their way to work around this guy's schedule, then he turns around and rips them? Maybe there are pieces of this story I just don't know about, but at first glance he seems to come off as pretty ungrateful to me...
well in the NFL Randy Moss can come out and say he isn't happy with the way things are going with his next contract and live to play another day and nobody crys foul. With Dana ur lively hood is taken right out from under u because his feelings got hurt because the guy isn't a yes man. It really does depend on what he said.
