Siena Saints v/s Manhattan Jaspers 2/18/2008 7:00:00 pm
At 7 pm, our complimentary selection is on the Manhattan Jaspers plus the points over Siena, as Manhattan falls into a 56-32 ATS system of mine. What we want to do is play on any home dog of less than 9 points, at Game 12 of the season or later, that is off a double-digit win as a home dog. The Jaspers check into tonight's game off back to back wins (following an eight-game losing streak). On Friday, Manhattan blew out Marist 83-62 to avenge a 76-66 loss to the Red Foxes on January 7, and on Feb. 10, Manhattan beat Canisius by double-digits, 97-87. Now, the Jaspers will go for their third straight win, and will be seeking revenge from a 13-point loss to the Saints on January 17. Manhattan has won seven of its last 10 home games vs. Siena, and it will pull the upset tonight. Take the points.
MATT RIVERS
Georgetown
It's tough backing the Hoyas after that dismal last effort at the Carrierdome but I do think they will rebound and being the far superior team here should be enough to cover this number.
I have no issues with Providence as they are what they are, an average Big East team who, at home, could be a little dangerous. These guys are similar to a Seton Hall or a Cincinnati as they are not anything better than okay but on their home court should be able to at least hang with anybody.
In the end though John Thompson III's team should be too strong and too focused after the egg they just layed against Syracuse. Roy Hibbert, DaJuan Summers, Jonathan Wallace, Jessie Sapp and others form one of the better teams in the nation and should be able to get back in fine form today.
Providence has five players averaging double figures and should not get killed here but in a similar vein to how they just came up short against Louisville on Saturday we should see that again here as Georgetown is too good and should prove this today in a win and cover.

Game: Detroit Red Wings at Colorado Avalanche Feb 18 2008 8:05PM
Prediction: Detroit Red Wings
Reason: The struggling Wings have lost 6 straight games but tonight the losing streak ends. Detroit is 11-4 in their last 15 road games. In their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning home record the Wings are 8-3. The Wings are 4-1 in their last 5 games played with 0 day rest. Colorado has dropped 5 of their last 6 home games. The Avalanche are 5-13 in their last 18 games vs. Western Conference opponents. Detroit has won 6 of their last 7 trips to Colorado. The Wings are 21-8 in the last 29 meetings between the clubs. Play on the Detroit Red Wings

Louisville
Syracuse used a big first half to knock off Georgetown on Saturday but it will be very tough to take on a Louisville team that is rolling in a quick-turnaround. Syracuse needed to come up with the upset of Georgetown following a costly loss at South Florida and the Orange put together a great performance but matching that energy on the road will be difficult. Louisville endured a battle on Saturday in Providence but in the end the Cardinals prevailed, making for five consecutive S/U and ATS wins. Louisville is 12-2 on the season at home and Syracuse has not shown consistency on offense this season. Louisville is ready to deliver a lopsided win as Syracuse is simply not in the same class as the Cardinals this season.

Game: Portland U vs. San Francisco
Game Time: 2/18/2008 10:00:00 PM
Prediction: San Francisco
Both San Francisco(8-18) and Portland(6-19) are going through a lot of growing pains with a young team in rebuilding years. The records are similar as are some of their overall numbers , and when these squads met back on Jan 19th the visiting Dons pulled off a hard fought closely contested 60-59 win over the Pilots, as 4.5 point dogs. Home floor advantage did not help Portland in that spot, and here on the road, another loss , with a more pronounced deficit will be on the agenda. Final notes & Key Trends: Portland has failed to cover 11 of their L12 revenge situations losing SU, by an average of 13.4 PPG. Play on the San Francisco Dons to bring home the cash

Texas A&M at Texas 9:00PM EST Play on:
Texas Longhorns
The Longhornes are heating up down the stretch going 5-0 ATS their last five games, and are 6-3 ATS after a conference game this year. The Longhornes are also 10-2 ATS revenging a road loss vs an opponent the last three years, and 5-2 ATS after scoring 80 points or more this year. We look for the Texas Loghornes to dismantle the Texas A&M Aggies for the home ATS Win & cover tonight.

Free Pick on Rhode Island Rams (+) vs Xavier @ 7 ET - The Rams are absolutely catching the Musketeers at the right time to spring the upset. Of course with the way this line dropped this morning it may not be considered much of an upset but many still don't see Rhode Island in nearly the same light they see the Musketeers. That general consensus opinion may change after tonight.

Take Santa Clara -11 over Loyola Marymount.
A real mismatch here. The Santa Clara Broncos finish their Southern California road trip with a game against the Loyola Marymount Lions at Gersten Pavilion. SCU will be looking for their second win of the season against LMU after beating them 58-35 at home earlier this season. Santa Clara put the clamps on Loyola Marymount's offense on Jan. 19 with an amazing defensive effort. SCU held the Lions to just 35 points in the game, the lowest the Broncos have allowed since an 86-35 win over Notre Dame de Namur on Dec. 20, 2005. The total is the lowest allowed against a conference opponent since a 40-33 Bronco win over Saint Mary's on Feb. 20, 1988

Xavier vs. Rhode Island
Play: Rhode Island -1
Ai Simulator 3* graded play on Rhode Island ? AiS shows a 71% probability that Rhode Island will win this game. Supporting this graded play is a system that has gone 50-24 ATS since 1997. Play on home teams where the line is +3 to -3 in a game involving 2 very good teams that are outscoring opponents by 8+ PPG and after allowing 85 points or more. We see that Rhode Island is coming off a 3 point loss to Temple where Temple scored 92 points. RI has really improved their rebounding skills and fundamentals noting that they have gotten 143 rebounds in their last 3 games for a 48 PG average. Strong rebounding will minimize Xavier?s second chance opportunities and will be a major factor in Rhode Island winning this game.
