Pistons/Knicks Over 189.5
Winning 7 days in a row (I wanted the Golden Week and I got it) Winning 10 of 12 days in January. Winning 12 of 15 Days. Let's keep rolling as I would love to beat my personal streak of 12 winning days in a row. There are a few things that I like quite a bit when looking at the numbers and splits for the Pistons where they are at home as compared to on the road. There are several pinciples that work into this game as well. First of all, whenever a team is an 80% road favorite, typically that leads to a public burial - and why not, the Knicks have revenge from earlier this year and they come off a tough 9 point loss to the Raptors at home and they need a big game. So, they will undoubtedly show up today which will help the over being an active underdog. However, what I like about the fact is that the Knicks allowed 99 points of offense to a Raptors team recently that is not an offensive team and consequently, they scored 90 points against a Raptors team that is solid defensively. Plus, tack on the fact that the Pistons have been playing road overs for quite some time as well. Thus, due to the public percentages, the Knicks with the revenge, the Knicks scoring more points at home while the Pistons are playing overs on the road - not to mention the Knicks desperately need a competitive game in the garden to get the fans off their back, I believe this goes over. The over is 13-3 when the Pistons are road favorites, the over is 4-1 when the Knicks are underdogs of late and the over is 8-3 in the last 11 matchups between these two teams of late.
