Boys and girls, we are approaching a month away from some fun and camaraderie. I need to get out and hit some golf balls. Looking forward to it. Makes it tough to give teams shit when we don't know our teams, but that is no big deal.

1st hole on the right 2nd shot.

Dead straight over all water 2nd hole. Par 3.

Hole 5 , on the right 2nd shot.

Hole 6, on the left 2nd shot.

Hole 7, on the right off the tee.

Prettiest hole on the course is hole 12. Par 3. Straight shot. Ball carries over water and comes in to play on the left at the green. I hit 5 shots here(nobody behind us) just to enjoy the hole. It's a beauty.

Hole 18. Carry the water off the tee.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys think, comparing it to Belterra. You are so dead if you are off the fairway at Chariot's Run. Belterra was similar. I think I lean Belterra but just barely.

Both are really tough but nice tracks.

great cant wait to walk into Wally World and buy 48 tree seeking golf balls to lose when I swore I hit it straight but by drunken cart partner wasn't watching cuz he was drinking and trying to figure out where he went and Eddie is still stuck on the last green leaving 15 foot putts 13 feet short and bithching about me not picking up the tee. Only to find out Jack has been hitting my shit for the last three holes cuz all he has left are range balls. We are sooooo gonna kick that ass this year.

Hope that helps,

I was checking Horseshoe's web-site and clicked "traveler reviews". Damn, can somebody say something nice about the hotel?

If you're driving, bring your own pillow from home. You know it's bad when they're bitchin' about the pillows! :mj07:

Just throwin' it out there.

The rooms are fine.

I've stayed there many times and never gave it any thought, good, bad, nothing. Just a regular place with the typical amenities

The pillows are GREAT! :0074

Of course they are!!!!

It's not like we'll be in the room that much...........sober!

Gotta make sure Momma is happy though. If she's comfortable, she'll fall into a deep sleep and then I can go to work!!!!!

not sure what those travelers are expecting, but when I've stayed there it's been just fine. I think the last time it was actually some kind of very nice pillowtop mattress.

Ok, this was weird......

It's 2-foot Tommy's b-day. We go to the Brewery for lunch. Amanda joins us, no biggie.

Well, I'm sittin' there and Amanda grabs her ice water and puts her stump in it! I'm like, "WTF Amanda!" She was crackin up, I was throwin' up, it was awesome!!!

She said the nerves on the end of her stump were hurting her. Cold water helps. I asked her if the lemon helped too!

I guess you had to be there but let me tell ya, that's something you don't see everyday!

And before you ask, yes, I tried putting my elbow in my glass of water. Nope!

Alan, Tommy and Amanda will be arriving Thursday night. Warn everyone!!!!!!
