YEAH.

This is what this country is all about.

Everyone has freedom of speech, unless its something I disagree with.

Nothing is more unamerican then telling someone with a different view to get out of this country, so fucking childish.

Everyone loses their shit when Trump expressed his freedom of speech

Yeah when the president calls for companies to fire their employees that is fascism not freedom of speech.

I guess we just lowered the bar for being president to accommodate the racist in office.

Say what you want but Beckham should be thrown out for a few games after that disgusting display! Not sure what he was trying to say and I don't care. If it wasn't for gambling no one would give a crap what these idiots do. Most are just lucky they are freaks of nature anyway. But Beckham, no excuse for that. He should have been thrown out on the spot, baring that the coach should have sat him down. Total disgrace!

Yep...Beckham is a pos

Goddell is busy suspending Zeke who did nothing wrong, I bet Beckham doesn't even get fined

I like this comment from random yahoo poster...

A week ago I would never have said this. Once our President attempted to use the coercive power of government to demand the NFL fire protesting players, it became the duty of all real Americans, all Americans who actually believe in the Constitution as distinguished from those who simply give lip service to it, to "take a knee" or otherwise register strong disapproval of the divisive demands of the "neo-nazi son-of-anazi" that NFL owners "fire" players who demonstrate.. It is a concept way to complex for the average Trump supporter to comprehend. While a private business may exercise it's discretion to discharge an employee, the moment the Chief Executive demanded that action, it became literally an act of Constitutional disparagement to do so. NFL owners, probably most of whom are conservative to the max by nature seem to understand this even if less understanding conservative followers do not. Trump tried to give an "order" demanding retribution. That is simply beyond the pale. Even guys like Dale Earnhardt of NASCAR royalty understands.

The problem I see with all this situation is nobody has the balls to fire someone. This all would've of been nip in the ass if the 49ners would've of took care of business. Been a Steelers fan since early 70's Tomlin and his entire staff plus the players that stayed in that locker room are JOBLESS if I own that team. Now quit going to the games qiut watching games on tv quit buying merchandise. We the ppl are saying these clowns are more important than a heart doctor brain surgeon etc these clowns living like kings big houses fancy cars and anything they want. We all work our ass off to support what they have wake the fuck up it's so simple QUIT GOING!!!!

Agree. The last part is just me being a dick. I just dont think disrepecting the flag or national anthem is a good or positive demonstration. The original protest unless it has changed is over police brutality. I am sure the latest was more directed at trump. The athletes are role models. Use that to educate the youth to show and be respectful to all. Especially police. Kids look up to the athletes. If you are stopped be respectful and comply. I do not have any problems when i am pulled over. I certainly do not want the police's job. They never know what they are walking into and at the end of the day they just want to go home. If you are stopped there are things we can do to ensure we all go on our way quickly.

All this clamor really amounts to nothing. Allowing ones self to become entangled in this distraction is just another one of a million things that makes the masses "sheeple". Say, "Baaaah". No one pays attention to the crucial issues. Nor can we. They're in motion, yet concealed and very well disguised. As a matter of fact, they are so cleverly hidden, they're in plain view.

They should not be.

I stopped watching the nfl years ago after the Ray Rice thing.

I find it funny that some players kneeling was this awful thing, but years and years of players beating women, committing crime and a league that has tried everything to hush the concussion problem was fine with everyone.

I would argue that the president is held as more of a role model then any athlete and no one has any problem with his words and actions.

He is still free to say what he said, regardless of how much it pissed some people off.

Too bad we don't have someone like Allen Funt interviewing these overpaid athletes for a Candid Camera like TV show asking them " What are you protesting?"
Would love to hear some of the answers.

Maybe the answer is to give the protesters the same time allotment as the national anthem. Then they could go balls out (pun intended) with demonstrating. They'd have time to salsa dance, twerk, snowangel, crotch grab, hip thrust and throw mock interference calls. All could be role models plus show their character by simulating peeing, drug use,sex acts, slitting a throat and even defecating a ball. Think of the lessons this could teach.

If the players really cared with their money they could create businesses to get kids off the streets. But instead they tattoo their bodies so they look like thugs and call US racists. Do something positive. You have the money!
