Today is last day on 2009 and I want to thank all those that were active in these threads for making it a very interesting edition to general forum and usual my 1st stop on reading.

Thread came to life in March at market bottom at time when I thought we might have to do suicide watch :)

--- was interesting to see those that stepped up and cashed in on the old adage-"be greedy when others are fearful" and reaped the benfits of 60% swing in Dow.

--and Jack a special :spotting: to you for your-Donald Trump moment - "Your Fired" to your broker.--that move sure paid dividends :)

--might not be bad idea to keep back of mind 2nd part of equation-
-be fearful when others are greedy and lock in some of those profits
--a safe and prosperous 2010 to all:toast:

This has been an excellent thread in General forum, thanks to those who share their picks and I hope to see more winners in 2010 from you all.

I'm going in to 2010 with only a Spec stock, GNVC.

BOL to everyone.

I am cooling by heals just watching. I'm hoping to start playing BEE & QELP like I did end of last year.
The other things that are just nuts is price of apple and google. I do believe they keep going up. And They will drag the rest up.

As an update, I sold my remaining shares of SRZ for $3.50 late in the year (wish I would have carried over to new year).

Looking to get back in if it goes under $3.00 again.

Anyone looking for steady long-term growth, you absolutely cannot go wrong with GCI.

Or if you want to swing for the fences just buy Apple or Amazon now. Yes, pricey but the longterm prospects for growth are good.
