Paul Daley Thinks Strikeforce Purposely Booked Him On Short Notice Against Nick Diaz

http://www.mmaconvert.com/2011/04/0...er&utm_campaign=Feed:+mmaconvert+(MMAConvert)

It would make sense as he is a huge liability because he keeps missing weight. All he has is a name and Strikeforce are the only ones who stand to profit from it, and this is probably their only chance too.

It makes a nice storyline for the fight, I think if he loses he will never fight in a major promotion again.

As far as his paranoia is concerned, I think it is somewhat justified as he has been used by the UFC just like strikeforce is using him now.

nick`s defense is terrible....and nick cuts...his face has broken down vs strikers that couldn`t hold daley`s jock...

Not posting any picks and probably wont post much in the coming weeks. I'm in a self imposed gambling ban while we go through the process of buying a house. Hopefully I will be back to posting picks in 4 to 6 weeks

Liking this card though. I wonder how the training camps of Aoki, Takaya and Kawajiri went?

Will Daley throw any kicks against Diaz?. Diaz does not have the best take downs but it may make Daley keep it to just his hands

:SIB I have a lot of catching up to do. The Shogun fight absolutely shut me down. I lost a LOT of money on that fight and didn't end up having a good Saturday night after the fights ended.

I'll get over to the UFC thread here in a while. Haven't even looked at these fight or read the post yet.

Remember we have a stacked card of pricks....what a fucking card:scared

#1 Asshole MotherFucker

#3 Paul Daley

#4 Gilbert Melendez

#12 Shinya Aoki

Note: The doors to the arena had to be taken out...the egos are just too big for all of them to get through the doors. Just too big.

Im thinking two outcomes for this fight

Diaz by Sub

If Diaz wins it is most likely by sub. Nick doesn't really have one punch KO power and Daley has never been KO'd. Its been the game plan ever since he has been training at ceaser gracie's camp, tire your opponent out and then take him down. Nick has had the opportunity to finish on the feet but has opted for a takedown and sub attempt instead.

Ceaser gracie sounded like he was full of shit when he said Diaz by KO, it's going to be the sme old thing. Even Nate Diaz does the same thing, he could have finished marcus davis but opted for a late takedown of a tired opponent. It's the MO of their camp. Also, diaz's teammate jake shields subbed daley before.

I don't think diaz can win fron GNP. His punches are too weak and if he gets the mount, daley has great hip escapes and should be able to shake him off, but give up his back in the process.

Daley in Round 1 or round 2

I think there is tremendous value in this. I don't think Daley has a KO past round 2 and he has wilted in fights that went the distance, one could say he lost that masvidal fight too. I would be shocked if Daley won this fight by anything other than KO and that is most likely to come in the first two rounds. I don't think Diaz will be able to take him down early, and will have to box with him. This is Daley's window of opportunity as he will be gassed in the later rounds and susceptible to takedowns. Although a 3rd KO or a stoppage due to cuts is possible, I would be truly surprised if Daley was able to win in rounds 3,4,5.

DeFactoCrippler...as stated earlier I thought Daley lost the Masvidal fight.

And you are bang on about the Daley prop.....Daley can only win in Round 1 or 2.

Nick should toy with Daley after the 1st round......if the fight goes to the 4th round it will be comical. The asshole motherfucker Diaz has so many ways to win this fight.

Daley is only a name because he misses weight and talks a big game. He is one dimensional and has only one way he can beat Diaz.

I would love to see Daley knock Diaz out, but if Diaz fights smart it won't happen.

Two complete assholes.......double knockout would be sweet :mj09:

Daley wins in round 1 +655
Daley wins in round 2 +660
Daley wins in round 3 16-1

Tempting odds:SIB
