And I hope Winslow does more MMA fights.....nice to have a ref that knows that it is a fight. GW just doesn't get the fact that Finney got back up "after the beating" and actually fought back.

Therefore......great job by the ref.

And GW.......take 50 MMA fighters and ask em what they think, I am telling you right now that they would ALL love to have Winslow ref their fight. ALL OF EM.

For fucks sake GW...the doctor allowed her to continue after round 1.

The ref did a great job, way to go Winslow. Wish more were like her.

I will say that I would of had no problem if Winslow would have said thats enough because it was a mismatch and was a one sided beating, but there was never a finishing blow landed of any kind and the doctor green lighted the contiuation of the fight.

I think Winslow was about to stop it in the 1st but that was when the illegal blows came.
HOW DO YOU STOP A FIGHT AND AWARD SOMEONE A WINNER BASED ON ILLEGAL BLOWS.

Winslow had no choice but to continue the fight at that particular point.
People would then be bashing her saying she rewarded illegal blows if she stopped it then.

I didn't say he was "saying" that.

When Kick say's "blame the commision", he is hinting that the fight should not have taken place without actually "saying" it.

He is outright "saying" Winslow was right not to stop it. That's his opinion.

THE FIGHT SHOULD NEVER HAVE TAKEN PLACE!!! :nono: :nono: :nono:

The fight should have been stopped sooner as unlike Sakuraba or Scott Smith, Cuddles does not have a history of coming back from savage beatdowns to pull off the miracle sub or the miracle KO.
Getting her face kicked in by a far superior athlete was pointless and sickening in my opinion.

This Female ref is just like most other refs in MMA, complete and utter shite!!!
I watched her ref a smaller show and stop the fight while the guy was in a RNC. The guy had been fighting the choke for about a minute and was still defending by pulling the opponents arm down, away from his neck, when this cunt decides to stop it for no reason.
NO TAP, NO TOWEL, NO BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT!!!
She stops the fight while the guy is in no trouble at all but lets Cuddles take a beating until her pretty face is a mass of injury's.

There is no room for these inconsistent Fuck up's that the commision provides as refs.
Not when this is a game that could result in severe injury or death if these Fuck up's are not at the top of their mediocre game.
BUT this is the same commision who allow a complete and utter mismatch to take place.
Cuddles was one of the biggest underdog in the history of MMA for a reason and I had serious doubts she would become Buster Douglas for the night.

Winslow is a shitty ref, but if I were an MMA fighter I'd have no problem with her reffing my fights.....at least she let's you fight.

How is Finney's response an affirmation that Winslow did a good job?? I think there are at least two reasons Finney would say it shouldn't have been stopped, even if she felt it should have:

1) If she said it should have been stopped it would look like a direct criticism of the ref, and some fighters don't want to get in the doghouse by criticizing the refs, judges, doctors, etc.

2) How many fighters are going to say "Yeah, I was getting my ass kicked. She should have bailed me out." Most fighters, male or female, have way too much pride to admit they were getting beat so bad they needed somebody to intervene.

Just my opinion. Like I said before it wasn't the worst reffing job I've ever seen, but Winslow also shouldn't be winning any awards anytime soon.
