A lot of folks in their Las Vegas homes might not be able to watch the SB. If so, then every one of those parties will have max attendance:

Cox, Channel 8 still negotiating as Friday deadline nears; customers could miss Super Bowl

Posted January 28, 2016 - 5:47pm

Cox customers could miss Super Bowl if dispute with KLAS-TV continues

The clock is running down on a deal that would keep Super Bowl 50 on the air for nearly half of the local TV-viewing market.

CBS affiliate KLAS TV Channel 8, which will air the big game on Feb. 7, is still negotiating with cable provider Cox Communications to keep Channel 8's signal on Cox. A distribution agreement between the two expired on Dec. 31, and an extension of talks is set to expire Friday at 11:59 p.m. if the sides can't strike a new contract.

Without a deal, Cox subscribers, who make up 48 percent of TV households in the Las Vegas Valley, will see a blackout screen when they tune into Channel 8...

Las Vegas CBS station KLAS goes dark amid rate dispute with Cox

HbN9XST.jpg

from the LVRJ:

Despite the standoff, Howfield [staton manager] and Barbusca [cable spokesman] both said they were confident the sides will reach an agreement by Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7.

?Lots can happen from now until then,? Barbusca said. ?Nobody wants to see a station go dark.?

Howfield said an extended blackout ?would be really extreme. Most of the time, if they go into blackout, they get resolved in a number of days.?

Hi Jack

The Big Game Party tickets are by invite only, and cannot be purchased. When you are at the Event Registration and picking up your tickets you can ask the Special Events coordinator if there are any available tickets for your party at that point. Unfortunately, it cannot be coordinated in advance though since it is based on other guests not showing up.

I booked this because shits filling up. I tried for an earlier time but this is what's left. It won't matter if it's 4 or 8 people but I'm hoping at least 4. If there's no interest I can cancel it that day as long as it's before 8pm.
